George Noel Lankester Hall was an Anglican [1] bishop [2] in India [3] from 1936 to 1957. [4]

He was born on Christmas Day 1891, [5] educated at Bedford School and St John's College, Cambridge and ordained in 1918. [6] His first post was a curacy at Christ Church, Luton. From 1917 to 1919 he was vice-principal of Ely Theological College. In that year he emigrated to India as an SPG missionary in Chota Nagpur. In 1936 he was elevated to the episcopate as its bishop, serving for 21 years. From 1957 to 1960 he was a Fellow of St Augustine's, Canterbury and died on 12 May 1962. [7]

Nashotah House is an Anglican seminary in Nashotah, Wisconsin. The seminary opened in 1842 and received its official charter in 1847. Diocese of Madhya Kerala of the Church of South India

When the Church of South India was formed on 27 September 1947, the diocese was called the Diocese of Central Travancore. Noel Michael Roy Beasley is a British Church of England bishop and epidemiologist. Since May 2015, he has been the Bishop of Hertford. From 2003 to 2010, he worked at Westcott House, Cambridge, an Anglican theological college, first as chaplain and then as a tutor and the college's vice-principal. During this time, he was also an academic of Imperial College London. From 2010 to 2015, he was Director of Mission for the Diocese of Oxford.

John Pares Craine was the eighth bishop of the Diocese of Indianapolis in The Episcopal Church, serving from 1959 until his death on Christmas Eve in 1977, shortly before his scheduled retirement. He supported the ordination of women.
