The North Middlesex Stars are a Junior ice hockey team based in Parkhill, Ontario, Canada. They play in the Provincial Junior Hockey League of the Ontario Hockey Association.
The team was founded in 1992 as the Parkhill Stars. After only one season, the team name was changed to the North Middlesex Stars.
The early years were rough on the North Middlesex Stars. In the team's first thirteen seasons, only 2 years did they have winning records.
In the summer of 2005, the team was on the verge of implosion. The community came together and saved the team. In the 2005-06 season, they celebrated their third ever winning record. In the summer of 2006, the OHA Junior Development League dissolved and was replaced by the Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League. Since the formation of the SOJHL, the Stars have been a standout team. In 2006-07, they finished 3rd overall with 30 victories. In 2007-08, they finished 4th overall with 27 victories. And in 2008-09, the Stars celebrated their fourth consecutive winning season with 25 victories and a 4th-place finish in the regular season.

The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) is a Junior A ice hockey league in Ontario, Canada. It is under the supervision of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) and the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL).

They were originally located in Port Stanley, Ontario, and then in West Lorne, Ontario, and London, Ontario, and Platteville, Ontario. They also formerly played in the Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA). The Lakers left the OHA in 2008 and played as an independent team.
The Bradford Rattlers are a Canadian junior ice hockey team based out of Bradford, Ontario, and members of the Greater Metro Junior A Hockey League. The Rattlers, then known as the Bradford Bulls, were bought out towards the end of the 2005–06 season by a local group of investors for the purpose of moving the team up to Junior "A" from the Georgian Mid-Ontario Junior C Hockey League.

The Casselman Vikings are a Canadian Junior ice hockey team in Casselman, Ontario. The Vikings play in the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL). Between 2014-15 and the end of the 2019-2020 seasons, the EOJHL and the CCHL set a new agreement in an attempt to create a better player development model. This resulted in the league re-branding itself as the Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 (CCHL2), and shrinking to 16 teams and two divisions. The league reverted to the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League for 2021. Prior to 2015, their league was known as the Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League of the Ottawa District Hockey Association. The Vikings have won the Carson Trophy three times and were the 2014 Don Johnson Memorial Cup Eastern Canadian Jr. B Champions.
