Crusaders Rugby League was a professional rugby league club based in Bridgend and later in Wrexham, Wales. They played for six seasons in the Rugby Football League competitions, including three years in the Super League from 2009 to 2011.
The Racecourse Ground, known as the STōK Cae Ras for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Wrexham, Wales. It is the home of Wrexham A.F.C.
Geraint Rhys Davies, is a Welsh former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level in Super League for the Crusaders, on loan from the Crusaders at South Wales Scorpions and the Limoux Grizzlies as a second-row or loose forward, and played club level rugby union (RU) for Llanelli Scarlets (Academy).
Jarrod Sammut is a Maltese international rugby league footballer who plays as a stand-off or scrum-half for Keighley Cougars in League One.
Owen ‘Choco’ Lewis is a Welsh rugby league footballer who has gained Under 18 and Under 19 international honours representing his country and also Great Britain.
Matt Barron is a former Wales international rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played at representative level for Wales, and at club level for the Newcastle Thunder in League 1, as a prop or second-row. He announced his retirement from rugby league on 7 February 2018.

Crusaders Rugby League enter their 5th year of rugby league, their 2nd in professional rugby league, in 2010. Additionally, this will be their first known as Crusaders Rugby League after previously being known as Celtic Crusaders, and their first year playing away from Brewery Field, Bridgend, moving to Wrexham's Racecourse Ground. They will be in contention for the Super League, in its 15th season and the 2010 Challenge Cup.

North Wales Crusaders is a professional rugby league club based in Colwyn Bay, Wales. They are the successors to the former Super League club Crusaders Rugby League. Crusaders compete in League 1, the third tier of English rugby league. Until the end of 2016 they played their home games at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham. From 2017 to 2020 they were based at the Queensway Stadium in Wrexham, but also played several games at Hare Lane in Chester. In 2021 the club moved to the Eirias Stadium in Colwyn Bay.
Rob Massam AKA The Thing on The Wing, is a ex Wales international rugby league footballer who played as a winger for the North Wales Crusaders in League 1.
Iwan Brown is a Welsh rugby league footballer who currently plays for the North Wales Crusaders. His usual positions is a Second-row. He has represented Wales and Great Britain Students at Rugby League. He was in the Lions side that made history by being the first side to seal a Test and Academic Ashes Series win on Australian soil. He is also one of the unique few non-English player to be picked for a BARLA representative side, playing for the Great Britain BARLA under 21s in 2007. Brown was called up to the Wales Rugby League squad for their game against France in June 2011 and made his début in that game.
Jamie Durbin is an English former rugby union and rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played representative level rugby union (RU) for England (Schoolboys), and club level rugby league (RL) for the Halton Farnworth Hornets ARLFC, the Warrington Wolves, the Widnes Vikings, Rochdale Hornets (loan), the Doncaster Lakers, Halton Simms Cross ARLFC, the Leigh Centurions, and the North Wales Crusaders, as a scrum-half.
Owain Griffiths is former a Welsh international rugby league player who currently plays for the North Wales Crusaders. His usual positions is Hooker.
Son of Welsh rugby league legend Clive Griffiths, Owain has established himself as an up-and-coming star of the future having played for Wales under 18s and Wales Students. He started his career at local St Helens club Pilkington Recs and was in the academy of Super League club Huddersfield Giants. He has regularly turned out in the successful Leeds Metropolitan University side and starred for them as recently as the 2011–12 season in both BUSA league Super 8 and Challenge Cup.

The 2017 Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup was the third staging of the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup. The tournament was held from 20 July to 28 July 2017 and was originally planned to be held in Sydney, Australia, as part of the 2017 Festival of World Cups but was relocated to France. The tournament was won by France who defeated England 38–34 in the final in Perpignan to retain the title.
