Nyeem Young (born 22 September 2000) is a West Indian cricketer. [1] Young was named in the West Indies' squads for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup [2] and the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. [3] At the 2020 tournament, in the Group B match against England, Young became the first cricketer for the West Indies to score a fifty and take a five wicket haul in the same U19 match. [4] For his performance, he was named the man of the match. [5] [6]

Following his performance in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, he was signed by the Barbados Tridents to play in the Caribbean Premier League. [7] [8] He made his Twenty20 debut on 25 August 2020, for the Barbados Tridents in the 2020 Caribbean Premier League. [9]

In March 2022, Young was called up to a white-ball training squad with the national team to prepare for international fixtures during 2022. [10]

In April 2023, Nedd was named in West Indies Academy's squad for the 2023 Headley Weekes Tri-Series. [11] He made his first-class debut for West Indies Academy on 19 April 2023, against Team Headley. [12]

Shai Diego Hope is a Barbadian cricketer, who plays as a wicketkeeper/batsman for the West Indies cricket team. He is also the current ODI captain of the Windies. In June 2018, he was named the Men's Cricketer of the Year, Test Cricketer of the Year and the ODI Cricketer of the Year at the annual Cricket West Indies' Awards. The following year, he was named the CWI ODI Player of the Year. He is generally regarded as one of the best ODI batsmen in the contemporary cricketing world. Aged only 17 on debut, he opened the bowling with Christopher Powell, taking 1/20 from four overs. Kimani Melius is a West Indian cricketer. He made his List A debut for West Indies B in the 2018–19 Regional Super50 tournament on 3 October 2018. Prior to his List A debut, he was named in the West Indies squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his first-class debut for the Windward Islands in the 2018–19 Regional Four Day Competition on 21 February 2019.

The 2020 Caribbean Premier League (CPLT20) or for sponsorship reasons, Hero CPL 2020 was the eighth season of the Caribbean Premier League, the domestic Twenty20 cricket league played in the West Indies. All matches were played in Trinidad and Tobago. The tournament started on 18 August and ended on 10 September 2020. On 10 July 2020, the local government gave its approval for the tournament to go ahead, with all the matches taking place at two venues behind closed doors. The full schedule for the tournament was confirmed on 27 July 2020. On 6 August 2020, an official press release stated that all players, officials and administrators involved in the league had tested negative on arrival ahead of a two weeks quarantine period.

Prior to his Twenty20 debut, he was part of the West Indies' squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
