Nyekachi Douglas (born 28 May, 1998) is a Nigerian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned as the winner of the 2019 edition of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant. She was crowned by 2018 MBGN Queen Anita Ukah in 2019 and represented Nigeria at the 2019 Miss World pageant. She is one of the youngest to ever wear the MBGN crown. [1] [2]

At the 2019 Miss World beauty Pageant held in the Excel Arena London, she won the Miss World Top Model, Miss World Africa, came 2nd at the Miss World Sports Competition and came in Top 5 at the Miss World competition. [3]
Nyekachi is from Ibaa, Emohua LGA in Rivers State. However, the model was born in Florida, USA on the 28th of May 1998. She lived mostly in Tampa, Florida but visited Nigeria from time to time. She started her modelling career while in school. [4]
Nyekachi did all her schooling including primary, secondary and tertiary education in Tampa, Florida. She is also majoring in Public Health at the University of South Florida.
At the 2017 New York Fashion Week, she walked for Amalia Probowo. She participated in the 2019 Arise Fashion Week, she worked with popular designers like Lanre DaSilva, Papa Oppong, Odio Mimonet and many others.
Nyekachi defeated thirty-six other contestants and is one of the youngest contestant to ever win the MBNG. On October 12, 2019 while representing Rivers State, She was crowned winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 32nd edition which was themed, “Every Woman" that was held at the Gabriel Okara Cultural Centre in Bayelsa. [5] She represented Nigeria at the Miss World beauty pageant contest held in United Kingdom.
At Miss World 2019, Nyekachi placed among the top 5 finalists. [6] [7] She also won the Miss World Africa Continental title, the Top Model Award at the competition and came second at the Miss World Sports Competition. [3]
