The first release from HXV was a mixtape titled We Off That, which was introduced under Diplo's Mad Decent label. Following this was his debut EP titled Run the Trap. This included the song "Flex", which caught the attention of Diplo, later landing HXV the opportunity to remix Major Lazer's "Jah No Partial". The response to this remix was outstanding, thus securing him a spot in the community.
Joshua Isaih "'OG" Parker, is an American hip hop record producer from Atlanta, Georgia. In 2015, he worked as an in-house producer for the record label Quality Control Music. His stage moniker is derived from his affiliation with OG Maco's collective OGG, where he became acquainted with frequent collaborator Deko. Parker has since produced for prominent artists including Megan Thee Stallion, Migos, Chris Brown, Jazmine Sullivan, Gucci Mane, Fetty Wap, K Camp, YFN Lucci and Kollision.

Grant Andrew Decouto, professionally known as Deko, is an American rapper and music producer. He is best known for producing OG Maco's "Want More" and Migos' single "One Time". He has also worked with Gucci Mane, K Camp, and, as part of the EDM trio Merge, with OG Parker and Tee Romano. Deko has also collaborated with visual artist Osean to create Yameii Online. Yameii Online is a Vocaloid virtual rapper featured in some of his music.
Quality Control Music is an American hip hop record label founded by Kevin "Coach K" Lee (COO) and Pierre "P" Thomas (CEO) in March 2013. The label's releases are distributed through Motown and Virgin Music, subsidiaries of Capitol Music Group and Virgin Music Group respectively. Tamika Howard and Simone Mitchell are executives of the label, with Howard serving as its general manager.
