Celtic Woman: O Christmas Tree is the sixth Christmas-themed album by Irish musical ensemble Celtic Woman. The tracks were taken from the concert DVD, Celtic Woman: Home for Christmas, at The Helix in Dublin. It was the group's first album to consist entirely of live tracks. [1] The album features vocalists Lisa Lambe, Susan McFadden and Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, and violinist Mairead Nesbitt. In contrast to the Celtic Woman: Home for Christmas album, O Christmas Tree does not feature vocalist Chloë Agnew.

Nightnoise was a music ensemble active from 1984 to 1997. Their original blend of Irish traditional music, Celtic music, jazz, and classical chamber music inspired a generation of Irish musicians. They released seven albums on the Windham Hill label.
Anúna is a vocal ensemble formed in Ireland in 1987 by Irish composer Michael McGlynn under the name An Uaithne. Taking the current name in 1991, the group has recorded 18 albums and achieved a high level of international success, including a significant role in Riverdance from 1994 to 1996. Almost all of their repertoire is composed or arranged by McGlynn. Despite having been based in Ireland since their foundation and providing training to many Irish singers, McGlynn announced in December 2022 that the group would cease public performance in Ireland, while continuing in Northern Ireland and beyond.
Gaudete is a sacred Christmas carol, thought to have been composed in the 16th century. It was published in Piae Cantiones, a collection of Finnish/Swedish sacred songs published in 1582. No music is given for the verses, but the standard tune comes from older liturgical books.
