Voices of Angels is the eleventh studio album released by the group Celtic Woman.
The album was recorded at Cauldron Studios in Dublin, Ireland with the seventy-two-piece RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland in August 2016, [3] and includes a mixture of original songs, new covers and re-arranged versions of previous Celtic Woman covers. [3]
Voices of Angels features vocalists Susan McFadden, Mairéad Carlin, Éabha McMahon, and fiddler and harpist Tara McNeill, with a guest appearance by former member and current vocal director Méav Ní Mhaolchatha. This is the group's first album to feature McNeill as their newest member (at the time). [4]
A digital-download copy of the album was made available as part of a ticket presale for the group's 2017 Voices of Angels tour in the United States, Canada, Japan, Europe, and Australia. [5]

Face the Music is the fifth studio album by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). It was released in September 1975 by United Artists Records and on 14 November 1975 in the United Kingdom by Jet Records. The album moves away from the large-scale classical orchestrated sound from the previous album, Eldorado, in favour of more "radio-friendly" pop/rock songs, though the string sections are still very prominent. The new sound proved successful for the group as Face the Music was the first ELO album to go platinum.
Anúna is a choral ensemble based in Ireland. The group was founded in 1987 by Irish composer Michael McGlynn under the name An Uaithne, taking the current name in 1991. The group has recorded 17 albums and achieved a high level of international success, including a significant role in Riverdance from 1994 to 1996. Almost all of their repertoire is composed or arranged by McGlynn.
Celtic Woman is an all-female Irish musical ensemble conceived and created by David Kavanagh, Sharon Browne and David Downes, a former musical director of the Irish stage show Riverdance. In 2004, Downes recruited five Irish female musicians who had not previously performed together, vocalists Chloë Agnew, Órla Fallon, Lisa Kelly and Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, and fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt, as the first lineup of the group that he named "Celtic Woman". Downes chose a repertoire that ranged from traditional Celtic tunes to modern songs.
Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, mononymously known as Méav, is an Irish singer, songwriter and recording artist specialising in the traditional music of her homeland. She was one of the original soloists in the musical ensemble Celtic Woman, which has sold over six million albums. Her solo albums have reached the Billboard World Music Top 10. She sings in multiple languages: English, Irish, French, Latin, Italian and German.
Lisa Kelly is an Irish singer of both classical and Celtic music and voice teacher. She has taken part in many musical theatre productions and concerts, and is a founding and former member of the musical group Celtic Woman.
