The Occidente Women's Tag Team Championship (Campeonato Femeniles de Parejas de Occidente in Spanish) is a women's professional wrestling tag team championship owned by the Mexican lucha libre promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The championship was first introduced on March 21, 2023, where Stephanie Vaquer and Zeuxis won a one-night tournament to be crowned the inaugural champions. [1] [3]
On March 21, 2023, at the CMLL held a one-night eight-teams tournament to determine the first Occidente Women's Tag Team Champions. Stephanie Vaquer and Zeuxis reached to the finals, where they defeated the Mexican National Women's Tag Team Champions Las Chicas Indomables (La Jarochita and Lluvia) to be the first title holders in the championship's history.

As of April25, 2024, there has been two reigns, as Stephanie Vaquer and Zeuxis were the inaugural champions. They won the title by defeating Las Chicas Indomables (La Jarochita and Lluvia) in the finals of an eight-team tournament at Martes de Glamour on March 21, 2023, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
The championship is currently held by Katana and Hatanna after they defeated Adira and Pantera to win the vacant Occidente titles. [2]

The CMLL World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling World Tag Team Championship promoted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in Mexico and is for two-man tag teams only. The championship was created in 1993 to replace the Mexican National Tag Team Championship and is still promoted by CMLL to this day. It is the top championship promoted by CMLL, with the CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship and the Occidente Tag Team Championship considered lower ranked, regional tag team championships. Rogelio Reyes, known by his stage name El Cuatrero, is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler currently signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide but is inactive due to incarceration. Best known for his work for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) based in Mexico City, he is the son of lucha libre legend Cien Caras and the nephew of Máscara Año 2000 and Universo 2000. Cuatrero, his brother Sansón and their cousin Forastero form a trio known as Nueva Generación Dinamita. NGD are presented as the successors to Los Hermanos Dinamita, which was formed by Cien Caras, Máscara Año 2000 and Universo 2000. His ring name is Spanish for "The Horsethief" or "The Cattle Rustler", reflected in the cowboy-inspired ring gear and mask he wears during shows.
Homenaje a Dos Leyendas (2021) was a professional wrestling supercard event, produced and scripted by Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, that took place on September 17, 2021. It was originally scheduled to take place on March 20, 2020, but on March 14, CMLL announced that due to guidelines issued by the Mexican government, the Homenaje a Dos Leyendas show would be postponed to a future date. The show, like all of CMLL's major shows took place in Arena México, Mexico City, Mexico, CMLL's home venue. The event was to honor and remember CMLL founder Salvador Lutteroth, who died in March 1987. Starting in 1999, CMLL honored not just their founder during the show, but also a second lucha libre legend, making it their version of a Hall of Fame event. For the 2021 show, CMLL commemorated the life and career of wrestler Sangre Chicana. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this was the first show to be held in September; it is the 22nd show under the Homenaje a Dos Leyendas name, having previously been known as Homenaje a Salvador Lutteroth from 1996 to 1998.
