Odd Bohlin Borgersen (born 10 April 1980) is a Norwegian long track speed skater who participates in international competitions.

Carl Eduard Verheijen is a Dutch former speed skater who specialized in the longer distances 5,000 m and the 10,000 m. Verheijen is the son of international speed skaters Rieneke Demming and Eddy Verheijen. He is in a relationship with retired skater Andrea Nuyt in Leusden. They have a daughter. Carl's brother Frank Verheijen is a marathon skater.

Hemmer is the holder of the current Norwegian record on 10000 m.

The 1996 World Allround Speed Skating Championships were held on 14–16 February 1997 in the Ludwig-Schwabl-Stadion stadium in Inzell, Germany. This was the first World Championships where men and women competed at the same time and venue.
