He was elected representative to the Storting from the constituency of Hordaland for the period 2021–2025, for the Labour Party. [1] [2]

Viking won the Norwegian Cup after beating Haugar 2–1 on 21 October 1979. The goal scorers for Viking were Bjarne Berntsen who scored a penalty in the 55th minute and Jens Egil Vikanes who scored in the 62nd minute. For Haugar, Dean Mooney scored in the 25th minute. This was the first time two teams from Rogaland met in a national final. Viking's official report stated that Haugar were the best team for large parts of the match. However, once Svein Kvia send a probing ball to give Jens Vikanes a goal, the game was secured for Viking.

Even Hovland is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Rosenborg and the Norway national team.

Viktor Hovland is a Norwegian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He became the first Norwegian to win on the PGA Tour by winning the 2020 Puerto Rico Open. He also became the first Norwegian to win on the European Tour by winning the 2021 BMW International Open. Hovland picked up his second PGA Tour win when he won the 2020 Mayakoba Golf Classic. He also won the 2018 U.S. Amateur.

Møre og Romsdal is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established as Møre in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It was renamed Møre og Romsdal from 1935. It is conterminous with the county of Møre og Romsdal. The constituency currently elects seven of the 169 members of the Storting using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2021 parliamentary election it had 192,394 registered electors.
