Oink (Dutch : Knor) is a 2022 Dutch stop-motion animated comedy film based on the book The Revenge of Oink by Tosca Menten. It was the first stop motion feature film ever made in the Netherlands. [2] The film premiered on the 72nd edition of the Berlin Film Festival. [3] The film won three Golden Calves for Best Feature Film, Best Director and Best Production Design. Making it the first animated film to ever win these awards. [4] It also received the Golden Film, a distinction for Dutch films with more than 100.000 tickets sold during its release. [5] The film also made it on the shortlist for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature but wasn't nominated. [6] [7]

In July 2022, It was announced that a prequel of the film is being made. The prequel will have most of the same voice cast and will take place 25 years before the events of the first film. [8] The 20-minute-long short film is titled King Sausage and follows the parents of Babs. [9]

The film, credited as based on several true events and characters, is about a young Jewish woman in the Netherlands who becomes a spy for the resistance during World War II after tragedy befalls her in an encounter with the Nazis. The film had its world premiere on 1 September 2006 at the Venice Film Festival and its public release on 14 September 2006 in the Netherlands. It is the first film that Verhoeven made in his native Netherlands since The Fourth Man, made in 1983 before he moved to the United States.
The Golden Film is a film award recognizing domestic box office achievements in the Netherlands. The Golden Film is awarded to films from the Netherlands once they have sold 100,000 tickets. The award is an initiative by the Netherlands Film Festival and the Netherlands Film Fund to increase media attention for Dutch films. For each awarded film there is one trophy for the film crew and another for the film cast.

From 1995 to 1998 the award was granted by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Uitgeversbond, the Royal Dutch Organization of Publishers; since 2000, it is granted by a separate organization.

Bon Bini: Judeska in da House is a 2020 Dutch comedy film produced by Maarten Swart and directed by Jonathan Herman. It stars Jandino Asporaat, as the character Judeska from the films Bon Bini Holland and Bon Bini Holland 2. Jandino originally wanted to make Bon Bini Holland 3 but after the COVID-19 pandemic happened, he instead decided to make a lower budget spin-off film in which one of his characters is forced to go into lockdown. The film premiered in Dutch theaters nationwide on December 10, 2020. It was the first Dutch film, after movie theatres reopened, to receive the Golden Film recognition for more than 100,000 visitors.

The film tells the story of the friendship between Hanneli Goslar and Anne Frank and the story is told from Goslar's perspective. The film is based on Memories of Anne Frank: Reflections of a Childhood Friend written by American author Alison Leslie Gold. It is the first Dutch cinema film about the life of Anne Frank. Aiko Beemsterboer plays the role of Anne Frank and Josephine Arendsen plays the role of Hanneli Goslar.
