Oliver Katwesigye Koyekyenga (born on 14 November 1975 [1] ) is a Ugandan businesswoman and legislator. As of April 2020, she is currently serving as the elected woman representative for Buhweju district in Uganda's tenth parliament. [2] She represented the same constituency in Uganda's ninth parliament as a member of the National Resistance Movement. She then contested as an independent candidate in the 2016 general elections. Oliver Katwesigye Koyekyenga achieved her O Levels (Uganda Certificate of Education) at Butare Senior Secondary School in 1995 before sitting for her A Levels (Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education) at the Lugogo Hall Centre in 2006. She also holds a bachelor's degree in International Business from Makerere University which she obtained in 2009. [1] [4]
Between 2007 and 2009, Oliver Katwesigye Koyekyenga worked as an Operations Manager at Coyetee then as a Customer Relations Manager at Hoopoe Tours and Travel, Kampala from 2009 to 2013. [1]
Upon the death in 2013 of Joy Arinaitwe Kariisa, [5] the then woman member of parliament for Buhweju District, Oliver Koyekyenga contested for the seat on the National Resistance Movement ticket [6] [7] achieving victory over Jane Frida Bwiruka. [8] [9]
She contested as an independent candidate in the 2016 general election to retain the seat. [10] She sits on at least 2 Parliamentary committees.
Evelyn Anite Kajik, commonly known as Evelyn Anite, is a Ugandan journalist and politician. She is the State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatization in the Ugandan Cabinet since 6 June 2016. Previously, she served as State Minister for Youth. She was appointed to that position on 1 March 2015, replacing Ronald Kibuule, who was appointed State Minister for Water Resources. She also served as the elected Member of Parliament for Koboko Municipality, in the West Nile sub-region, in the Northern Region of Uganda, a position she occupied from 2011 until 2021. In the 2020 National Resistance Movement (NRM) primary elections, Anite lost to Dr Charles Ayume, the son of former speaker of the Ugandan Parliament, the late Francis Ayume.
Anita Annet Among is a Ugandan accountant, lawyer and politician who is the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda since 2022. She also concurrently serves as the elected member of parliament for the Bukedea District Women Constituency, the same position she held in the 10th Parliament (2016–2021). She won the parliamentary seat running as an independent candidate in 2016. Her tenure as member of parliament was cut short when the Ugandan supreme court nullified her election for non-compliance with electoral laws because the electoral commission failed to carry out a vote recount after she had won with a two vote margin, beating James Nabinson Kidega of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). However, she returned as member of parliament after being re-elected Aruu north member of parliament in the April 2017 election by again beating Kidega, this time 64 percent to 32 percent.

Stella Atyang is a Ugandan politician and a District Woman representing Moroto in the Ugandan parliament.
