Olly Thomas (born 18 April 2005) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for EFL Championship club Bristol City.
Born in Bristol, Thomas grew up in the district of Bradley Stoke. He played for Mangotsfield and represented South Gloucestershire before joining Bristol City at the Under-16 level. [2]
In January 2023 Thomas joined Bath City on loan for the remainder of the 2022–23 season and played for Bath on 7 January, 2023 against Eastbourne Borough. [3] [4] However, by the end of the month he was recalled by Bristol City following the sale of Antoine Semenyo. [5]
Thomas had a senior Bristol City first team match day experience being named as a substitute in the FA Cup against West Brom on 28 January 2023. [6] He continued to train with the first team. [7] In March 2023, it was revealed that Thomas had signed a professional contract with Bristol City, agreeing a two-year contract until the summer of 2025. [8]
In July 2023, Thomas joined Yeovil Town of the National League South, on a six-month loan. [9] He made his debut for Yeovil against Hemel Hempstead on 5 August 2023. [10] On 15 August 2023, he scored his first goal for Yeovil against Truro City. He was recalled by Bristol City from the loan on 31 August 2023. [11] The following day he joined EFL League Two side Newport County on a season-long loan. [12] He made his debut for Newport on 2 September 2023, at home against AFC Wimbledon. [13] On 24 November 2023, Thomas was recalled by Bristol City. [14] On 29 January 2024, Thomas re-joined Yeovil Town in the National League South on loan until the end of the season. [15]

Yeovil Town
The 2010–11 football season was Bristol City's 113th season as a professional football club and fourth consecutive season in the second division. They competed in the Football League Championship having finished in tenth position the previous season. It was Steve Coppell's first season in charge of the club, though he resigned as manager on 12 August 2010 after just one league game in charge. Assistant Keith Millen became the club's new manager on a three-year-deal and it was his first job as a manager.
