One Drop East is the fifth studio album by New Zealand dub group, Salmonella Dub released in 2003. The album was re-released as a double edition remix album, titled One Drop East + Remixes & Outtakes.

Mad Professor is a Guyanese-born British dub music producer and engineer known for his original productions and remix work. He is considered one of the leading producers of dub music's second generation and was instrumental in transitioning dub into the digital age. He has collaborated with reggae artists such as Lee "Scratch" Perry, Sly and Robbie, Pato Banton, Jah Shaka and Horace Andy, as well as artists outside the realm of traditional reggae and dub, such as Sade, Massive Attack, The Orb, Gaudi, the Brazilian DJ Marcelinho da lua, Grace Jones, and Perry Farrell.

Shapeshifter are a live drum and bass act from New Zealand. They are known for their live shows and blend of heavy soul with drum and bass. They have made appearances at Glastonbury, The Big Chill, Big Day Out, Parklife plus sold-out performances across Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The Nextmen are a UK production/songwriting/DJ duo consisting of Dom Search and Brad Baloo. Often incorporating hip hop, Drum&Bass, dub, pop, soul, and various other eclectic electronic and indie genres into their sound, they have worked with many artists from the UK, US, Australia, Jamaica, and New Zealand. Tiki Taane is a New Zealand-based musician, experimentalist, musical activist, producer, and live engineer. He was a member of leading New Zealand band Salmonella Dub but left after eleven years on 1 January 2007 to pursue a solo career. His debut album, Past, Present, Future, was released on 22 October 2007 in New Zealand and has since gone two times platinum, achieving a number one single, "Always on My Mind", which became the first digital single to reach platinum sales and also held the record by staying in the NZ Top 40 Charts for 55 weeks. Taane is also the exclusive live sound engineer for New Zealand drum and bass act Shapeshifter since their first gig in 1999. Taane has also produced multi platinum albums for bands such as Six60, Shapeshifter, Salmonella Dub and Tiki Taane.

Sweet Reggae Mix is the third and last remix album that was released on September 10, 2008 by Sweetbox. Two of the songs on the album are remixed and performed by Tina Harris, while the rest of them are performed by Jade Valerie. These remixes, however, are new mixes and have never before been released on any other album than this one. All of these songs in their original versions can be found on some of the other albums, and other remixes for some of them can be found on compilation albums, and even on other remix albums as well. The remix found on this album, titled "A Whole New World " is the first remix of the original version to be officially released. The original version, however, is only released on the Complete Best album. Two other remixes, titled "That Night " and "Vaya Con Dios " are also the first remixes to be made and released on any album.

Juice TV Awards

The Juice TV Awards was an annual New Zealand music video award presentation held by the now defunct New Zealand music video channel Juice TV. The awards were founded in 2001 and initially honoured music videos from both New Zealand and international acts, however in 2004 the awards were limited to New Zealand artists only. Finalists were selected by Juice, with the winners chosen by public vote. No ceremony was held in 2009 and the 2011 awards was the final holding. Juice closed in 2015.
