One Nashville Place is a skyscraper in Nashville, Tennessee located on Fourth Avenue and Commerce Street. Completed in 1985, this 359-ft. octagonal building with dark glass exterior has 25 floors and has been given the nickname R2-D2 by the people of Nashville after the character in the Star Wars movies. It is currently the fourteenth tallest building in Nashville.

The top of the building currently features the signage of Regions Financial Corporation. The new logo was put into place on May 12, 2013. [4] Several other now-retired banks have seen their logos at the top, including Dominion Bank (acquired by First Union), First Union (which sold its presence in Nashville to Firstar), and Firstar (which acquired, and later became, US Bank). Regions has made a move to One Nashville Place and now has their logo on top of One Nashville Place.[ citation needed ]
Boston investors, TA Associates Realty, bought the building in late 2014 for $98.8 million [2] and put the Boyle Investment Company in charge of leasing and managing the office tower. [5]
In September 2018, it was purchased by Unico Properties, a Seattle-based property investment company, for $139.5 million. [2]
U.S. Bank Tower, known locally as the Library Tower and formerly as the First Interstate Bank World Center, is a 1,018-foot (310.3 m) skyscraper in downtown Los Angeles, California, United States. It is, by structural height, the third-tallest building in California, the second-tallest building in Los Angeles, the eighteenth-tallest in the United States, the third-tallest west of the Mississippi River after the Salesforce Tower and the Wilshire Grand Center, and the 129th-tallest building in the world, after being surpassed by the Wilshire Grand Center. It consists of 73 stories above ground and two parking levels below ground. Construction began in 1987 with completion in 1989. The building was designed by Henry N. Cobb of the architectural firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and cost $350 million to build. It is one of the most recognizable buildings in Los Angeles, and often appears in establishing shots for the city in films and television programs.

Place Ville Marie is a large office and shopping complex skyscraper in Downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada, comprising four office buildings and an underground shopping plaza. It serves as the main and official headquarters for Royal Bank of Canada, Canada's Largest Bank. The main building, 1 Place Ville Marie, was built in the International style in 1962 as the headquarters for the Royal Bank of Canada, which it still is presently. It is a 188 m (617 ft), 47-storey, cruciform office tower. The complex is a nexus for Montreal's Underground City, the world's busiest, with indoor access to over 1,600 businesses, numerous subway stations, a suburban transportation terminal, and tunnels extending throughout downtown. A counter-clockwise rotating beacon on the rooftop lights up at night, illuminating the surrounding sky with up to four white horizontal beams that can be seen as far as 50 kilometres (31 mi) away. The light is not for airplanes.

Their similar height, color, and pyramidal roofs make them the focal point of the Albuquerque skyline.

AmTrust Financial Building, formerly known as McDonald Investment Center, Key Center and the Central National Bank Building, is a commercial high-rise building in Cleveland, Ohio. The building rises 308 feet in Downtown Cleveland. It contains 23 floors, and was completed in 1969. The building currently stands as the 18th-tallest building in the city. When first constructed, the tower stood as the 5th-tallest building in Cleveland. The architect who designed the building was Charles Luckman.

Panorama Tower is a mixed-use 85-story skyscraper in Miami, Florida, United States. It is located in the Brickell district of Downtown Miami. Its construction was put on hold during the Great Recession. The project was revived in 2012 when owner Tibor Hollo hired Moshe Cosicher, AIA Architect, to redesign the project. In 2013, the project was revised; the 868-foot (265 m) tower is slated to include residential, hotel, retail, and office space. It is the tallest building in Miami, and the tallest building in Florida, but may soon thereafter be overtaken by various other towers including The Towers by Foster + Partners and One Bayfront Plaza. Panorama Tower took over the Four Seasons Hotel Miami as tallest when it topped out in late 2017. The project is the first development in the City of Miami to be funded in part by EB-5 visas. While the entire site was technically addressed 1101 Brickell Avenue, the building is actually located on the back of the lot, behind two existing office buildings, at 1100 Brickell Bay Drive. It is about two blocks from the Tenth Street Metromover station.
