Oon Shu An (born 5 August 1986) is a Singaporean actress and host. She is the web-show host of Clicknetwork.tv's Tried and Tested.

Oon was educated at Methodist Girls' School. She graduated from the LASALLE College of the Arts, majoring in acting. [1] [2]

Theatre

Oon's one-woman show, #UnicornMoment, which she wrote and performed, [9] with Checkpoint Theatre, was picked a highlight of 2014's local theatre offerings by The Straits Times , [10] and nominated for best original script at the Life! Theatre Awards in 2015. [11] Oon has been nominated twice for the best actress award at the Life! Theatre Awards, Singapore's de facto national theatre awards in 2019 for her lead role in Mergers and Accusations, [12] and in 2016 for the role of Xi Yan in the play Chinglish at the Life! Theatre Awards. [13]

Han Sai Por is a Singaporean sculptor. Chng Seok Tin was a visually-impaired printmaker, sculptor and multi-media artist from Singapore. She was often inspired by the i-Ching and Buddhism. Her work has been shown internationally; Chng had over 26 solo shows and 100 group shows. In addition to her art, she was also a prolific writer and has published 11 collections of her writing, mostly in Chinese. She also advocated for artists with disabilities.

<i>Rubbers</i> (film) 2014 film by Han Yew Kwang

Rubbers is a 2014 Singaporean sex comedy film written and directed by Han Yew Kwang. It stars Marcus Chin, Julian Hee, Lee Chau Min, Oon Shu An, Catherine Sng, Alaric Tay, and Yeo Yann Yann as Singaporeans who are faced with various problems in their sex lives related to condoms. The film is split into three shorts whose scenes are interwoven. It premiered at the Singapore International Film Festival on December 12, 2014. Golden Village released it theatrically on April 30, 2015, in Singapore, where it grossed $82,510.

Violet Oon is a Singaporean chef, restaurateur, and food writer known for her food columns, cookbooks, and restaurants specializing in Peranakan cuisine. She has been the food ambassador of Singapore since 1988.

City Sharks is a 2003 Singaporean comedy road film directed by Esan Sivalingam, starring Sheikh Haikel, Nicholas Lee and Hans Isaac. The film was shot from October 2001 to January 2002, during which a monsoon destroyed a key location. Sivalingam filed two lawsuits against Malaysian production house Gambar Tanah Licin for refusing to release the film. The first lawsuit, which was quickly settled out of court, was for the production house refusing to release the film. The second lawsuit, which ended in January 2003 and resulted in him being awarded $310,000, was for financial mismanagement.
