The Oratory of Saint Philip Neri (Spanish: San Felipe de Neri) is a former church in Toledo (Castile-La Mancha, Spain). The building was used by the Congregation of the Oratory of Saint Philip Neri as an oratory (chapel).
The building is the surviving portion of the church of San Juan Bautista (demolished between 1771 and 1777).
This Church was also called San Juan de la Leche (for a goatyard whose milk they sold).
It was founded in 1125 and, with Gothic traces. It was rebuilt between the late 15th century and early 16th century.
A remnant of what could be the sacristy is a yeseria of good design with remains of polychrome.
In the wall of the gospel the Oratory's main Chapel was built, built by Sancho Sánchez de Toledo.
Pisa, in its History of Toledo, places this chapel among the best in the city.
In the recent restoration a Gothic polychrome was discovered.
Its design favoured conceptual unity and over time increased Escario's reception.
The Roman baths of Toledo were located in the area of the Oratory, and there are some remains under the church. [1] They date from the 1st century CE, when Toledo was known as Toletum. [2]
From 2013 - 2018 it housed the Tolmo Museum, [3] [4] Owned by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha the Oratorio was ceded in January 2019 to the Consortium of the City of Toledo, after an agreement signed between both parties. [5] Under ist management it opens its doors for prestigious art exhibitions in 2022. They show contemporary art, such as the cycle "Presence and Essence" with the exhibition "Memories" by the local artists Alfredo Copeiro and José Delgado Periñan and the art installation "Selfis of the past" by Swiss artist Daniel Garbade. The Roman baths of Toledo or Roman thermae of Amador de los Ríos are ruins of Roman thermae located in the city of Toledo in Castile-La Mancha, Spain. The baths can be seen as part of the system of supplying clean water to the city. From the scale of the surviving infrastructure, they are assumed to have been a public facility.

The Covento de San Gil currently houses the Cortes of Castilla-La Mancha. It was a convent and currently a government building located in the city of Toledo dating to the 17th century. The Dicalced Franciscans, or gilitos, arrived in this city in the middle of the 16th century, and established it in 1557 in the vicinity of the Ermita de la Virgen de la Rosa. Later, in the early-17th century, two brothers, Francisco and Juan de Herrera, donated to the friars 16,000 ducats for the construction of the new convent.
The Convento de San Pedro Mártir, is a convent located in Toledo. The Dominican convent was moved in 1407 from its location outside the walls to the houses donated by Doña Guiomar de Meneses. through its successive extensions and modifications, became one of the richest and most important convents of the city.
The 2023 Castilian-Manchegan regional election will be held on Sunday, 28 May 2023, to elect the 11th Cortes of the autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha. All 33 seats in the Cortes will be up for election. The election will be held simultaneously with regional elections in eleven other autonomous communities and local elections all throughout Spain.
