Mustafa Sandal is a Turkish singer-songwriter. At the beginning of the 1990s, he wrote and composed a number of songs for other singers and made a reputation for himself in the music industry. In 1994, with the release of his first studio album Suç Bende and its subsequent success, he made a name for himself in Turkey. This was followed by the release of another album titled Gölgede Aynı in 1996. In 1998, the song "Aya Benzer" from his new album Detay became a number-one hit in Turkey. After signing a contract with Sony Music, he released the album Araba. The song "Araba" from the album became a massive hit. Throughout his career he continued to release many albums, including Akışına Bırak (2000), Kop (2002). Later, under the label Universal Music-Polydor, he released the album Seven (2003), followed by İste (2004), Devamı Var (2007), and Karizma (2009). In 2011, his single with Gülben Ergen, "Şıkır Şıkır", became the most downloaded song of the year. In 2012, Sandal released his 10th studio album Organik. In 2013, his new single "Tesir Altında" became one of the best-selling singles of 2013. Sandal has won many awards throughout his career. For his album Kop, he was voted the "Best Male Artist" in 2002.

Kırık Kalpler Durağında is the sixth studio album by Turkish singer Candan Erçetin. It was released on 16 December 2009 by Pasaj Müzik. It was her second studio album released by this company, and her first major work since the 2004 release of Melek. The album features elements of pop music, folk music and hip hop. Candan Erçetin is the album's major songwriter, having written ten of its songs on her own. Out of these ten songs, six of them were composed by her as well. All of the songs were arranged by Alper Erinç.
Bengü Erden is a Turkish singer. She became first familiar with music during her time at the İzmir State Symphony Orchestra. In İzmir, she was cast in a leading role in the musical "Oliver Twist". She later took singing lessons with İzmir State Conservatory's general manager, Müfit Bayraş. In 1998, by performing a song by Müfit Bayşara, she ranked second at the competition Pop Show '98, organized by Mü-Yap and Show TV. She then studied music at Istanbul Academy. She worked as a backing vocalist for Kenan Doğulu for three years. In 2007, Bengü became the winner of Show TV's singing competition Bak Kim Dans Ediyor. Her first album, Hoş Geldin, was produced by Kenan Doğulu and Ozan Doğulu and released in July 2000. Her second studio album, Bağlasan Durmam, was released in 2005. After two years, she released her third studio album, Taktik. With the song "Korkma Kalbim" from this album, she received a digital certification from Mü-Yap and the album became one of the best-selling albums of the year.

It was Yener's first studio album since the 2011 release of Teşekkürler and included elements of pop music. All of the songs on the album were written by Sinan Akçıl, the third and last of Hande Yener's albums to have Akçıl as its sole songwriter. The album was produced by Polat Yağcı and Akçıl.

Çağatay Akman is a Turkish singer and songwriter. Akman became famous with the release of his song "Gece Gölgenin Rahatına Bak" on 12 June 2016. On 8 June 2017, another single, "Sensin Benim En Derin Kuyum", was released. It was followed by "Bizim Hikâye" on 14 September. The latter was used on the soundtrack of the TV series Bizim Hikaye. On 15 February 2018, another song, titled "Yüreğim Davacı", was released. Akman, who also plays guitar, has tried acting by appearing on the 12th episode of Bizim Hikaye in a supporting role. He was nominated for the "Best Newcomer" award at the 44th Golden Butterfly Awards.

In the early 1990s, she met Sezen Aksu and started working as her backing vocalist. She made her debut in 2000, with her first studio album Senden İbaret, which was released by DMC. Two years later, her second studio album, Sen Yoluna... Ben Yoluma..., was released by Erol Köse Production. The album sold one million copies in the year it was released and received a platinum certification from MÜ-YAP. In 2004, her third studio album, Aşk Kadın Ruhundan Anlamıyor, sold 412,000 copies, and in 2006 her fourth studio album, Apayrı, sold 165,000 copies, both of which received gold certifications.
Yeni Ay is the fifth studio album by Turkish singer Sıla. It was released by Sony Music Entertainment and Columbia Records on 18 February 2014. After "using dark and introspective themes" in her fourth studio album Vaveyla (2012), Sıla started working on Yeni Ay "at a time of feeling well". She wrote all of the songs by herself and composed them together with Efe Bahadır. She also produced the album together with Bahadır. İskender Paydaş, Can Baydar, Bedük and Fatih Ahıskalı also worked on the album. The recording of the album began in late 2013 and continued until early 2014. The album was recorded in Istanbul at Babajim Studios and in Athens at Sierra Studios.
Teşekkürler (Thanks) is the ninth studio album by Turkish singer Hande Yener. It was released on 20 September 2011 by Poll Production. It contains elements of pop music and was Yener's first studio album since the 2010 release of Hande'ye Neler Oluyor?, with which she returned to making pop music. All of the songs on the album were written and composed by Sinan Akçıl, who had also prepared the entire songs on Yener's previous album as well. The album was produced by Polat Yağcı.
Eylül Geldi Sonra is the third studio album by Turkish singer Emre Aydın. It was released on 16 December 2013 by Doğan Music Company. Three years after the release of his previous album, Kağıt Evler, a teaser for his new album was released on 22 November 2013 and it was eventually made available on 16 December. The album was produced by Mats Valentin and Mustafa Ceceli, and recorded at Mr Radar Music Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.

Carpe Diem is the fourteenth studio album by Turkish singer Hande Yener. The first part, Carpe Diem Part I, which contains 10 songs in total, was released on 2 October 2020 by Poll Production. Eight of the songs in the album were written and arranged by Berksan and Misha, while one was prepared by Fikri Karayel and Deeperise, and another by Mete Özgencil and Devrim Karaoğlu. Carpe Diem is a pop and electronic album that also has elements of synth-pop, funky house, deep house and R&B. Unlike Yener's previous works, the eight songs prepared by Berksan were first composed and lyrics were later put on them. Yener explained that she named the album based on the philosophy of "living at the moment, knowing the value of the moment" and then a song with the same name was written and included in the tracking list. The album was set to be released in April 2020 but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release date was postponed. It eventually became available in October 2020.
