Oronoz-Mugairi (Spanish: Oronoz-Mugaire) is a village located in the municipality of Baztan, Navarre, Spain.
The Supreme Court of Puerto Rico is the highest court of Puerto Rico, having judicial authority to interpret and decide questions of Puerto Rican law. The Bidasoa is a river in the Basque Country of northern Spain and southern France that runs largely south to north. Named as such downstream of the small town of Oronoz-Mugairi in the province of Navarra, the river actually results from the merger of several streams near the village Erratzu, with the stream Baztan that rises at the north-eastern side of the mount Autza being considered the source of the Bidasoa. It joins the Cantabrian Sea between the towns of Hendaye and Hondarribia.

Maite Oronoz Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican jurist and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. Oronoz Rodríguez is the fifth woman to serve on Puerto Rico's highest court. She is also Puerto Rico's first openly gay chief justice and, as such, the first female openly gay chief justice in U.S. history She is also the third woman to preside the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and the youngest person to do so.
Blanca Renée Arrillaga Oronoz de Maffei was a Uruguayan chemist, botanist, professor and agrostologist. The battle of Tlatempa took place on July 5, 1859 in the vicinity of Zacatlán in the state of Puebla, Mexico, between elements of the liberal army, under General Juan N. Mendez and conservative elements of the army commanded by General Carlos Oronoz who was the commander Zacatlán military during the War of Reform. Arantza Díaz de Ilarraza Sánchez is a professor of informatics at the University of the Basque Country. In 1981, she began her work as a lecturer at the Faculty of Informatics of Donostia. In 1988, she created the Ixa Group along with four others, and in 2018, she retired as President of the HiTZ Center.
