Oscar Aga (born 6 January 2001) is a Norwegian footballer who played as a forward for Fredrikstad on loan from Rosenborg. [1]

Career

After his time in the youth ranks of the Lyn and Stabæk football clubs, he made his Eliteserien debut against Brann[ clarification needed ] in April 2018. He scored his first goals in the 2019 Norwegian Football Cup, in which he made 5 goals in 3 matches. [2] He was loaned to Grorud at the close of the summer 2019 transfer window. [3]

In 2021, Oscar Aga signed a contract to play for IF Elfsborg; the contract will be in effect until 2025. [4]

On 6 March 2023, Aga signed a deal that would allow him to play for Rosenborg until the end of 2026. [5]

On 26 July 2023, Aga signed a loan deal with Fredrikstad, until the end of the 2023 season. [6] After the season, Fredrikstad announced they had extended the loan until the end of the 2024 season. [7]

The 2007 season was SK Brann's 99th season and their 21st consecutive season in the Tippeligaen. Brann won the Tippeligaen in 2007. In the end, they finished 6 points ahead of their nearest rival, Stabæk. The team did cause a small sensation, and bitter disappointment among tens of thousands of Brann supporters who had gathered in Bergen to watch the game live, on 20 October, by losing to Ålesund 1–2 in the 24th of 26 rounds, a match where a draw would have set aside all doubt about Brann's league win. However two days later, Viking defeated Brann's last rival to the gold medals Stabæk with a 2–1 result, thereby securing Brann the first league championship since 1963.

The 2009 Tippeligaen was the 65th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began on 15 March and end on 1 November. Stabæk were the defending champions. Odd Grenland, Sandefjord and Start entered as the three promoted teams from the 2008 1. divisjon. They replaced HamKam who were relegated to the 2009 1. divisjon.

The 2009 season was SK Brann's 101st season and their 23rd consecutive season in the Tippeligaen. Steinar Nilsen took over as head coach after the six-year tenure of Mons Ivar Mjelde. The club didn't see the big signings or sales in the January transferwindow. Local-lad Erlend Hanstveit left the club after 10 years, while thought-to-be star striker Njogu Demba-Nyrén was sold only one year after signing with the club following a season where his performance was below expectations.

Jørgen Skjelvik is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Apollon Limassol. After starting his career with the local club Stabæk, Skjelvik moved to Sweden where he played in Allsvenskan with Helsingborg and Kalmar, before he returned to Norway and joined Rosenborg in July 2013. He has represented Norway from under-18 to under-21 level, but was left out of the Norwegian squad for the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship due to an injury.
