Otostigmus ceylonicus is a species of centipedes in the family Scolopendridae. [1] It is known only from Sri Lanka. [2]

The name is derived from the Sri Lankans native to the island that the first spiders were found on- the Vedda people- and their surname Wanniyala-Aetto.
