David Bowie is the self-titled debut studio album by English musician David Bowie. It was released in the UK on 1 June 1967 with Deram Records. Its style and content is often said to bear little overt resemblance to the type of music that he was later known for, such as the folk rock influenced "Space Oddity" or the glam rock of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. NME critics Roy Carr and Charles Shaar Murray have said, "a listener strictly accustomed to David Bowie in his assorted '70s guises would probably find this debut album either shocking or else simply quaint", while biographer David Buckley describes its status in the Bowie discography as "the vinyl equivalent of the madwoman in the attic". Nicholas Pegg contends that "it seems a pity that David Bowie is only ever considered in terms of what we can extrapolate from it [...] Thankfully, it does seem that pop musicologists are at last beginning to regard David Bowie not just as a quirky set of embryonic twitterings, but as an album that's actually worth considering in its own right".

The single, and a remix by Russell McNamara, was used as the official Japanese theme song for the 2002 action role-playing video game Kingdom Hearts, and appeared on its original soundtrack respectively. Musically, "Hikari" is a pop folk song. Lyrically, it is about mysteries in life and human activities.
"Don't Walk Away" is a song by American R&B group Jade. It was released on November 23, 1992 as single from their album, Jade to the Max. It became one of the biggest Dance and R&B singles of the year. The song peaked at number two on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100. Outside of the United States, the song also peaked within the top ten of the charts in the United Kingdom. The success of the single landed the trio spots on The Tonight Show, The Arsenio Hall Show and Top of the Pops in the United Kingdom. A cover version of this track by Jenny Jones was released in January 2009. The first verse and chorus were interpolated in Diplo & Sleepy Tom's 2015 dance track "Be Right There".
"Round Here" was released in 1994 from Geffen Records as the second single from the Counting Crows' debut album, August and Everything After (1993). The song's origin pre-dates the formation of Counting Crows, when the band's future frontman Adam Duritz wrote the song with The Himalayans members Dan Jewett, Chris Roldan and Dave Janusko.

Sorry, Sorry is the third studio album by South Korean boy band Super Junior, released on March 12, 2009 in South Korea. Sorry, Sorry was a critically and commercially successful hit in Asia, becoming 2009's best-selling Korean-language album in South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, China, and the Philippines. In less than a week after pre-orders were announced, over 150,000 copies were pre-ordered. According to South Korea's Hanteo Charts, it debuted at 1st on the charts with almost 30,000 copies sold on the first day. The album won a Disk Daesang at the 2009 Golden Disk Awards. Sorry, Sorry became the last album of the group to feature members Han Geng and Kibum.

Goodbye Lullaby is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Avril Lavigne. It was released on 2 March 2011 through RCA Records. Recording sessions for the album began in November 2008 and continued over a period of nearly two years, concluding in October 2010. Goodbye Lullaby is a primarily a pop rock album and is considered a more introspective record from Lavigne in comparison to her previous material, consisting mainly of stripped down instruments such as the piano and acoustic guitar. Lavigne assumed an integral role in the album's production and co-wrote every original track on Goodbye Lullaby, as well as collaborating with several producers including Max Martin, Shellback, Butch Walker, and her ex-husband Deryck Whibley. Goodbye Lullaby is Lavigne's third and final studio album released by RCA, following The Best Damn Thing (2007).

Stronger is the fifth studio album by American singer Kelly Clarkson, released on October 21, 2011 by RCA Records. The thirteen-song track-list features Clarkson collaborating with various new producers as well as with Howard Benson, whom she collaborated with on her previous album, All I Ever Wanted (2009). Wanting to stray away sonically from her previous albums, Clarkson's main objective was to record her vocal performances as it is heard in her live sets, and used as little auto-tune processing as possible. The album also marked the first release by Clarkson that did not cause a conflict with RCA; her previous records, most notably My December (2007), were released amidst conflict and controversy.

Victorious 3.0: Even More Music from the Hit TV Show is the third soundtrack and the second extended play for the Victorious series. The album was released November 6, 2012, with a total of 5 tracks. Daniella Monet also announced that there would be a "Walmart Exclusive ZinePak" with two bonus tracks and the bonus tracks are: "Cheer Me Up" by Victoria Justice, which was partly performed in the season 3 episode, "Tori Goes Platinum"; and "365 Days" by Leon Thomas III, which was also partly performed in the season 2 episode, "Jade Gets Crushed". On the album, Thomas is just by himself and is not singing with Justice like in the episode.
Mr.Mr. is the fourth extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. The EP consists of six tracks and it incorporates electropop and R&B-pop music genres. It was released for digital download by SM Entertainment and KT Music on February 24, 2014. The CD and digital version were released in Hong Kong on the same day, and was made available for purchase on February 27 in South Korea. To promote the album, Girls' Generation appeared on several South Korean music programs including Music Bank and Inkigayo. The title track was released as a single. This is the final Korean EP featuring member Jessica who later left the group on September 30, 2014.
"You Don't Know What to Do" is a song by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey included on her fourteenth studio album, Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse (2014), and features rapper Wale. The track was released on June 30, 2014, as the third single from the album. It was written by Wale, Carey, Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox, with production helmed by the latter two. The song contains an interpolation of "I'm Caught Up in a One Night Affair" written by Patrick Adams and Terri Gonzalez, both of whom received songwriting credits as a result. The single's artwork caused controversy when the media criticised Carey for photoshopping and re-using images of herself. Carey herself later expressed her discontent on the matter, stating that she had no knowledge of the single's artwork until it was released.
"Thirsty" is a promotional single by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey from her fourteenth studio album, Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse. It was co-written by Carey in collaboration with Hit-Boy, Denesia Andrews and MaryAnn Tatum. Carey and Hit-Boy also produced it, with co-production from Rey Reel. The alternate version of "Thirsty", featuring one rap verse from American rapper Rich Homie Quan, received its radio premiere on Power 105.1 on May 13, 2014, a day before the album version featuring just Carey was made available to stream. It has been described as a "club-friendly" R&B song influenced by hip hop, which makes use of a minimal synth beat.
