Pedro Pablo Morales Jr. is an American former competitive swimmer. He set world records in the 100-meter butterfly in 1984 and 1986. He was the 100-meter butterfly gold medalist at the 1992 Olympic Games, as well as winning 4 × 100 meter medley relay gold medals at both the 1984 and 1992 Olympic Games. He also won 100-meter butterfly and 4 × 100 meter medley relay gold medals at the 1986 World Championships.

Aruba sent a delegation to compete at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, United States from 19 July to 4 August 1996. This was Aruba's third appearance at a Summer Olympic Games since separating from the Netherlands Antilles. The Aruban delegation consisted of three competitors, track and field athlete Miguel Janssen, weightlifter Junior Faro, and cyclist Lucien Dirksz. Janseen was eliminated in the first round of the men's 200 metres, Faro finished 21st in the men's middleweight, and Dirksz failed to finish his event.

Pablo Montes Casanova was a Cuban sprinter. His career highlight came in 1968 as he, together with Hermes Ramírez, Juan Morales, and Enrique Figuerola, won an Olympic silver medal in 4 x 100 metres relay. He was also fourth in the 100 m final, just outside the medals. In 1970, he won both the short sprint events at the Central American and Caribbean Games. In his semi-final for the 100 metres, he clocked a wind-assisted time of 9.93 seconds, then the second fastest time ever, and only the third time that anyone had broken ten seconds.

In the 2008 Olympic tournament he teamed up with Raúl Mesa and lost in the round of 16. At the 2012 Summer Olympics tournament, Herrera partnered with Adrián Gavira. The pair lost in the round of 16 to Brazilians Ricardo Santos and Pedro Cunha. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro Herrera once again played with Gavira, losing to eventual champions from Brazil, Alison Ceruti and Bruno Oscar Schmidt. At the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo Herrera once again played with Gavira, losing to runner-ups from ROC (Russia), Viacheslav Krasilnikov and Oleg Stoyanovskiy.
