The Byrds Play Dylan is the name of two different compilation albums by the American rock band the Byrds, one released in 1979 and the other issued in 2002. As their titles suggest, each compilation consists of interpretations of Bob Dylan penned songs, which the Byrds recorded at different stages of their career.
Live is the eleventh album and the first live album by Alison Krauss and Union Station. All of the songs except "Down to the River to Pray" were recorded at The Louisville Palace on April 29–30, 2002. The album was released on November 5, 2002.
2 Years On is a 1970 album released by the Bee Gees, which reached No. 32 on the US charts, and sold 375,000 copies worldwide. The album saw the return of Robin Gibb to the group after an earlier disagreement and subsequent split following Odessa. 2 Years On was the first album with drummer Geoff Bridgford, who remained a full-time member of the group until 1972 although he was not pictured on the sleeve. The best-known track is "Lonely Days". Released as the first single by the reunited brothers, it charted high in the US, but peaked at No. 33 in the United Kingdom.
Poison's Greatest Hits: 1986–1996 is the first greatest hits compilation CD from the glam metal band Poison. The album was released on November 26, 1996 by Capitol Records. The album contains 16 tracks from the band's first four studio albums and also the live double-album Swallow This Live. The compilation includes most of Poison's hit singles which all charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and Mainstream rock charts.

In 1992, it was re-recorded and remixed by house music producer Steve "Silk" Hurley, and features actress Kim Basinger alongside a re-recorded Ozzy Osbourne on vocals. It appeared on the group's compilation album, Hello Dad... I'm in Jail.

Flippin' Out is an album by Gigolo Aunts released in October 1993 on Fire Records in the UK and April 1994 on RCA/BMG in the US. It includes the track "Where I Find My Heaven", featured on the soundtrack to 1994 comedy film, Dumb and Dumber, which helped to break the band into the charts. The US and UK versions feature different track listings. The title track, "Flippin' Out", was originally recorded by the Wizards, a NY/NJ supergroup circa 1988/1989, part of a six song EP that was never released. In a story attributed to Phil Marino, known for his work photographing the band, the Gigolo Aunts became acquainted with the song through Rob Norris, the producer of their debut album, Everybody Happy. Norris, a former member of the Bongos and at the time a current member of the Wizards, reportedly sent a tape of the six song EP to the Gigolo Aunts, who recorded "Flippin' Out" as the title track for the album. The album cover features Chloë Sevigny.

Where I Find My Heaven is a compilation album by Gigolo Aunts released in the UK, first on Nectar Masters (1997), and then on Fire Records (1998). The album collects a number of singles and b-sides from 1993 through 1995. The album includes a cover of "Winsor Dam", a 1991 recording by Big Dipper that did not receive its formal release until the 2008 compilation album Supercluster: The Big Dipper Anthology.
Where I Find My Heaven + Flippin' Out is a compilation album by Gigolo Aunts released in the UK in 2003 on Fire Records. The album combines an expanded version of Where I Find My Heaven and the UK version of Flippin' Out into a single release on two compact discs. This compilation adds two additional tracks to Where I Find My Heaven, "Supernova Crush" and "Little Carl".
"Lay Down Your Weary Tune" is a song written by Bob Dylan in 1963. He originally recorded it for his album The Times They Are a-Changin', but it was not released until 1985 on the Biograph box set. In the album liner notes, Dylan claims that in the song he was trying to capture the feeling of a Scottish ballad he had just heard on a 78 rpm record. The specific ballad Dylan was referring to has not been identified, but speculation includes "The Water Is Wide", "O Waly, Waly" and "I Wish, I Wish".
"Bloom" is a song written and performed by Gigolo Aunts. It was first released in fall 1991 as the A-side to a 7" single, backed with "Cope", on the independent Summerville label. After appearing as a track on the October 1992 "Cope" single (Blaze58), it was released again as a single in its own right in January 1993 by Alias Records. In July 1993, it appeared as the lead track of the Full-On Bloom EP and later that year appeared on the Gigolo Aunts' album Flippin' Out. In support of that album, it was released as a promo single in the US in 1994 by RCA/BMG.
Minor Chords and Major Themes is a 1999 album by Gigolo Aunts. It includes the songs, "Everyone Can Fly", subsequently featured on the Everyone Can Fly EP, "Everything Is Wrong", co-written by Jane Wiedlin, and "The Big Lie", co-written by Dave Bassett. Minor Chords and Major Themes features the return of producer, Mike Denneen, who also produced the 1993 album, Flippin' Out. The track, "You'd Better Get Yourself Together, Baby" also appears on the Wicked Good Sampler 05 compilation, a 1998 promotional release associated with Newbury Comics released by Universal Music. The Japanese release of Minor Chords and Major Themes adds the track, "Kinda Girl", which also appears on the Learn to Play Guitar EP.
The Complete Album Collection Vol. One is a forty-seven disc box set released on November 4, 2013 by Bob Dylan. It includes thirty-five albums released between 1962 and 2012, six live albums, and a compilation album unique to the set, Side Tracks, which contains previously released material unavailable on regular studio albums. This box set covers much the same ground as the compilations Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits, Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Vol. II, Biograph, Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Volume 3 and The Essential Bob Dylan.
Rare Cult is a limited edition, six-CD box set from British rock band the Cult, released in November 2000. The chronologically-organized set contains 90 tracks of studio B-sides, radio sessions, 12-inch mixes, alternate mixes, demos and the complete then-unreleased Peace album. The set is packaged in a matte black box with gold lettering, containing three 2-disc gatefold digipaks and an extensive 80-page booklet of liner notes and photos.
