The series is the sequel and next generation story of Andal Azhagar , both of which were directed by Francis Kathiravan. [3] [4]

It is a story about love, but circumstances have made Andal and Azhagar's families rival for two generations. The drama explores whether their daughters, Revathy (Soundarya Bala Nandakumar) and Sakthi (Sameera Sherief) reunite the family.

Vignesh Karthick is an Indian film and television actor, video and radio jockey, screenwriter, cinematographer and film director. He started his career by acting and directing short films and participating in reality shows, including the comedy game shows like "Athu Ithu Ethu" in STAR Vijay and Comedy Jodies in Zee Thamizh as a stand-up comedian. He later went on to host of those shows, especially the popular shows like Suriya Vanakkam, Thapal Petti En 8484 and many other shows in Sun TV and STAR Vijay respectively. In 2015, he started to work as Radio jockey with the radio station BIG FM 92.7. In 2016, he made his acting debut in films with Natpadhigaram 79 and in television with Pagal Nilavu. He made his directorial debut in films with Yenda Thalaiyila Yenna Vekkala.

Syedd Annwar is an Indian actor and television producer. In 2011, he made acting and production debut in Tamil television with Pirivom Santhippom under his banner Evergreen Productions along with him introducing Kalyani, Rachitha Mahalakshmi and Dinesh Goplalsamy. The same year he produced Saravanan Meenatchi which was a popular serial featuring the hit pair of 2007 serial Madurai Mirchi Senthil, Sreeja Chandran in the lead titular roles and along with them he also appeared in a brief supporting role. In 2013, he acted in the serial Thayumanavan. In 2016, he started to act in the serial Pagal Nilavu along with his fiancé Sameera Sherief, Vignesh Karthick and Soundarya Bala Nandakumar.

The story is based around Velan, a rowdy who falls in love with Sakthi, who's determined to fight for her rights at any cost.
