Pagrati B.C. (alternate spellings: Pagkrati, Pagratiou, Pagkratiou, Pangrati, Pangratiou, Pangkrati, Pangkratiou) is a Greek professional basketball club. The club is located in the Pangrati neighborhood of Athens, Greece. The team competes in the Greek 2nd Division.
The A.O. Pagrati Athens parent sports athletic association was founded in 1929. The sport club's basketball department, Pagrati B.C., was founded in 1938. [1] Around the era of 1950, was the basketball club's first peak period, which established it as one of the big Greek clubs of that era. In 1979, the team was in a downward spiral, as it was downgraded to the Greek 3rd Division.
In 1988, the club returned to the top-tier level Greek League, and it stayed in the top Greek Division for the next 6 years. After that 6-year run in the Greek top-tier level (A1), the club again struggled in the lower Greek divisions, until it was promoted up to the Greek 2nd Division, for the 2006–07 season.
Pagrati B.C. plays its home games at the METS Indoor Hall, which is located in the Pangrati neighborhood of Athens. The arena features two basketball courts, as well as volleyball and handball courts. The arena is used by all of Pagrati's major athletic departments.
The volleyball teams of Panathinaikos VC Men and Panathinaikos VC Women, have also used the venue to host home games. The arena has also been used to judo matches. For basketball games, the arena has a seating capacity of 1,500 people.

The HEBA Greek All-Star Game, also known as the EKO Greek All-Star Game for sponsorship reasons, is the All-Star Game of the HEBA Greek professional basketball association for men. It was founded and organized by Gus Sarianides. The men's all-star game has most often been played in a format featuring the Greek All-Stars, versus the Rest of the World All-Stars. There is also a men's slam dunk competition, and a men's 3-point shootout competition. The all-star weekend also features a game between under age 22 players and senior age players, called the Rising Stars versus the All-Time Stars.
The 2008–09 HEBA Greek All Star Game marked the 17th HEBA Greek All Star Game of the HEBA A1 Division. The game was held on March 15, 2009, at Xanthi Arena in Xanthi, Greece. The Greek All Stars beat The Rest of the World All Stars by a score of 127-93. Ioannis Bourousis was named the MVP of the game.
Basketballin Greece erupted with the win of the Greece men's national basketball team at the 1987 EuroBasket in Athens, which caused a general basketball euphoria in the country. Since then, the Greece men's national teams have achieved consistent international success, leading Greece to join Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Italy, Spain, France, and Lithuania in the circle of European basketball powers. In addition to the Greece national team's triumph in 1987, they won the gold medal at the 2005 EuroBasket, silver medals at the 1989 EuroBasket, and the 2006 FIBA World Cup, and the bronze medal at the 2009 EuroBasket.

AEK Basketball Club, also known as AEK B.C. or AEK, and more commonly known in European competitions as AEK Athens, is a Greek professional basketball club based in Athens, Greece, part of the major multi-sport club AEK. The club was established in Athens in 1924 by Greek refugees from Constantinople in the wake of the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922).
