South Point High School is a public high school in South Point, Ohio. It is the only high school in the South Point Local School District. The school is operated by principal Doug Graham and assistant principal Jeff Sanders. The district's mascot nickname is The Pointers. The Pointer dog is named Ol' Blue and is considered a Kentucky Blue Tick hound dog.

The school was opened September 6, 1960, and was named in honor of Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, a French priest, and educational reformer. The school was officially dedicated on May 14, 1961. It was founded by the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.

Marion Local High School is a public high school located in Maria Stein, in Mercer County, Ohio's Marion Township. It currently has approximately 286 students enrolled. The students are from Maria Stein and several surrounding communities, including Cassella, Chickasaw, St. Rose and St. Sebastian in Mercer County, Osgood in Darke County, as well as a small portion of Auglaize County. These communities were served by a series of local one-room school houses that still stand in Chickasaw, Minster, St. Rose and St. Sebastian. In 1922 a 2-year high school was established in Maria Stein and in 1930 a 3-story brick school was completed directly across from St. John's Church. In 1955 the Marion Local Consolidated School District was established and charged with strengthening the educational opportunities for students in the 6 member communities. The Marion Local School District built a new high school, the Marion Local High School, in Maria Stein in 1957.

It houses about 1,900 students in grades 9-12. Formerly Jackson High School, Grove City High School moved from the former Park Street building in 1970, where it had been located since 1929. Mentor High School is a public high school located in Mentor, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Mentor Exempted Village School District. At one time, it was the largest high school in Ohio based on single building enrollment. For the 2008–2009 school year, it shifted from a three-year school to a four-year high school, serving approximately 2,700 students. Mentor High School educates students from Mentor, Mentor-on-the-Lake, and parts of Kirtland Hills and Concord Township in Lake County, Ohio. Both middle schools from the Mentor Exempted Village School district, Memorial Middle School, Shore Middle School, feed into Mentor High School.
