The area contains the historic Gyo-dong area, in which Suwon Hyanggyo, the old City Hall, and Bugugwon lie, and Paldalmun, the south gate of Hwaseong Fortress is also here.

Yongin is a city in the Seoul Capital Area, the largest in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. With a population over 1 million, the city has developed rapidly since the 21st century, recording the highest population growth of any city in the country. Yongin is home to Everland and Caribbean Bay, South Korea's most popular amusement and water parks. The city is also home to the Korean Folk Village, the largest of its kind. Yongin-si is a multi-nuclear city with multiple urban centers, not a single nuclear structure, and Giheung-gu crosses the Yeongdong Expressway and Dongbaek, while Suji-gu crosses Pungdeokcheon Stream and Jukjeon.
Suwon is the largest city and capital of Gyeonggi Province, South Korea's most populous province. The city lies approximately 30 km (19 mi) south of the national capital, Seoul. With a population of 1.2 million, Suwon has more inhabitants than Ulsan Metropolitan City, though it enjoys a lesser degree of self-governance as a 'special case city'.

It connects Sinsa station and Gwanggyo station in 42 minutes, a feat achieved by being the first line to operate South Korea's next-generation subway car travelling at over 90 km/h (56 mph), with the fastest average speed of any subway line in the country.

Jangan District, established on July 1, 1988, is the northern district of the city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is approximately 15 km. from central Seoul.
Yeongtong-gu, established in 2003, is the eastern district of the city of Suwon in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is split from Paldal-gu and is Suwon's newest "gu".

Bupyeong District is one of the 10 administrative divisions that comprise Incheon, South Korea. Bupyeong District comprises an area of 12.35 square miles, and has a population of 508,587. It is located north of Namdong District, east of Seo District, and south of Gyeyang District. The city of Bucheon, in neighboring Gyeonggi Province, comprises its eastern limit.

Suji-gu (Korean: 수지구), or Suji, is one of the three city districts in Yongin City, South Korea which is approximately 29 km south of Seoul. Suji became a city district on October 31, 2005, about nine years after Yongin officially became a city. When Yongin City was established in 1996, both urban and rural areas were covered to become a part of the city; thus to this day, Yongin's urbanization is varied throughout different regions of the city. Suji is one of the most urbanized areas of Yongin, as it borders Seongnam City's Bundang District and Suwon City, two more well developed areas. Home to the newly built Shinsegae Department Store and Dankook University in one of its towns, Jukjeon, Suji is rapidly developing as Yongin City becomes more and more urbanized. In recent years, the district has attracted upper-class Koreans, with the completion of the Samsung East Palace in 2010.
National Route 1(Korean: 국도 제1호선; RR: Gukdo Je Il Hoseon) is a national highway in South Korea. It connects Mokpo, South Jeolla Province with the city of Paju in Gyeonggi-do. Before the division of the Korean peninsula, the highway ran until Sinuiju, North P'yongan Province, in present-day North Korea.
Ipbuk-dong is an administrative neighbourhood in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Ipbuk-dong is divided into two different legal-status neighbourhoods, namely Ipbuk-dong and Dangsu-dong, which are separated by the Hwanggujicheon—a stream which flows south from Wangsong Reservoir on their northern boundary with the city of Uiwang, through Suwon, eventually to Asan Bay. Dangsu-dong has Suwon's sole boundary with Ansan, and meets Hwaseong further south. The neighbourhood is 96% green belt.
Jowon-dong is a dong in Jangan-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. Divided into two "dongs", namely Jowon-1-dong and Jowon-2-dong, Jowon-dong lies in the north of the city, backing onto Gwanggyosan, a mountain to the north.

Pyeongtaek–Paju Expressway is an expressway in South Korea. It connects Pyeongtaek to Paju in Gyeonggi Province. The expressway's route number is 17, which it shares with the Iksan–Pyeongtaek Expressway. This expressway overlaps with the Capital Region Second Ring Expressway at Hwaseong.
Wongok-dong is neighbourhood of Danwon-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It is officially divided into Wongok-1-dong, Wongok-2-dong and Wongok-bondong. The multi cultural special zone (town) is located in wongok-dong. In multi culture town 70% of the people are foreign and 30% of the people are Korean. Wongok-dong has the widest forest area of 34km. The farmland is 18.8km, which is small compared to the total area.
Jeongja-dong (Korean: 정자동) is a group of three administrative neighbourhoods of Jangan-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Jeongja-dong is also a legal status neighbourhood, though the administrative neighbourhoods' boundaries are wider. The three administrative neighbourhoods comprising Jeongja-dong are Jeongja-1-dong, Jeongja-2-dong, and Jeongja-3-dong. Jeongja-3-dong incorporates part of the legal status neighbourhood Cheoncheon-dong. Jeongja-dong is in central Jangan-gu, though it shares a short border with the city of Uiwang.
