The Palestinian Basketball Federation is the governing body of basketball in Palestine.
The federation, founded in 1963, represents basketball with public authorities as well as with national and international sports organizations and as such with Palestine in international competitions. It is affiliated with FIBA and FIBA Asia. The federation also organizes the Palestine national basketball team and the Palestine women's national basketball team.
FIBA Europe is the administrative body for basketball in Europe, within the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), which includes all 50 national European basketball federations. In reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, FIBA Europe mandated that no official basketball competitions are to be held in either Russia or Belarus, while the teams of the Russian Basketball Federation and of the Belarusian Basketball Federation are being withdrawn from national team competitions and from the club competition season 2022-23.
The Basketball Federation of Slovenia also known as KZS is the governing body of basketball in Slovenia. It was founded in 1950 as a member of the larger Yugoslav Basketball Federation. In 1992, KZS joined the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) on its own.
The Basketball Federation of Kosovo is the governing body of basketball in Kosovo. It organizes the Kosovo Basketball Superleague and the Kosovo Basketball Cup. It has also fielded a team which has represented Kosovo in international friendlies.

Russian Basketball Federation, also known as RBF, is a national governing body of basketball in Russia. It was founded in 1991, and is the successor to the Soviet Basketball Federation. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, FIBA banned Russian teams and officials from participating in FIBA basketball and FIBA 3x3 Basketball competitions. In February 2022, Russia and Belarus were suspended from international competitions until further notice due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. It also banned Russia from hosting any competitions. In addition, FIBA Europe mandated that no official basketball competitions are to be held in Russia, while the teams of the Russian Basketball Federation were withdrawn from national team competitions and from the club competition season 2022-23.
