Pamela Hamilton (born c.1958) is a former international badminton player from Scotland who competed at two Commonwealth Games.
Hamilton playing out of Airdrie, North Lanarkshire [1] and was a Scottish international. [2]
Hamilton represented the Scottish team [3] at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Canada, [4] where she competed in the badminton events. [5] Hamilton would also go on represent the Scottish team [6] at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Australia, where she competed in the badminton events. [7]
In 1984 she played in the Uber Cup [8] and in 1986 she was in New Malden and represented her nation at the European Championships. [9] By 1986 she was also the Scottish number 2 ranked player and also became the nation's second most capped player. [10] The following year she was based in Guildford. [11]
She was twice a singles champion and four times a doubles champion at the Scottish National Badminton Championships. [12] [13] Additionally, she won four titles at the Irish Open.
