The 20801 / 20802 Magadh Express is a superfast train running between New Delhi and Islampur. Its number is 20801/20802 and it departs from Islampur and reaches New Delhi the following day. In the past, its number was 2401/2402 and was run from the Northern Railway zone. Now it is run as a train from South Eastern Railway zone. Earlier a train named Sonbhadra Express used to run between Patna to New Delhi and vice versa. It was converted to Magadh Express after combining it with Vikramshila Express.

The 12301/ 12302 Howrah - New Delhi -Howrah Rajdhani Express is a Rajdhani class Superfast Express train of Indian Railways that connects that capital of West Bengal, Kolkata to the national capital of India, New Delhi. Varanasi Junction railway station, also known as Varanasi Cantt railway station, is the main railway station serving the city of Varanasi. The other key railway stations in Varanasi Metro area are Banaras, Varanasi City, Kashi and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction. The junction station is sandwiched between the cantonment region and Chetganj region of the city. The station is partially controlled by the Lucknow Division of the Northern Railway Zone and the Varanasi Division of the North Eastern Railway Zone of the Indian Railways. Varanasi Junction railway station nearly reaches the frequency of 300 trains daily. Almost, 45 trains originate and terminate at the station. Premium trains of Indian Railways also originate from Varanasi Junction, such as Vande Bharat Express and Mahamana Express.
The 22449 / 22450 Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express is one of the Sampark Kranti Express trains of Indian Railways. It connects New Delhi, the capital city of India with Guwahati, the capital city of Assam. The train is named as Poorvottar Express since it connects New Delhi with the north east region of the country, known as Poorvottar in Hindi.
Deendayal Upadhyaya, known by the epithet Panditji, was an Indian politician, a proponent of integral humanism ideology and leader of the political party Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS), the forerunner of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Upadhyaya started the monthly publication Rashtra Dharma, broadly meaning 'National Faith', in the 1940s to spread the ideals of Hindutva revival. Upadhyaya is known for drafting Jan Sangh's official political doctrine, Integral humanism, by including some cultural-nationalism values and his agreement with several Gandhian socialist principles such as sarvodaya and swadeshi (self-sufficiency).
The Gaya–Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction section, formerly Gaya–Mughalsarai section , is a railway line connecting Gaya Junction and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction. This 197-kilometre (122 mi) track is part of the Grand Chord, Howrah–Gaya–Delhi line and Howrah–Prayagraj–Mumbai line. This section includes Arrah-Sasaram and Son Nagar branch lines. It is under the jurisdiction of East Central Railway.
Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, formerly known as Mughalsarai Junction, is a railway station in the town of Mughalsarai in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The station contains the largest railway marshaling yard in Asia. This yard caters to around 450–500 trains in a month. All trains, including premium category Vande Bharat, Rajdhani and Duronto trains, halt at this station, which makes it unique in the entire Indian Railways network. "Major installations in Mughalsarai include electric locomotive shed holding 147 locomotives, diesel locomotive shed holding 53 locomotives, wagon ROH shed, and a 169-bed divisional hospital."

The Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction – Kanpur section, formerly Mughalsarai–Kanpur section, officially Kanpur - Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay (CNB-DDU) section, is a railway line connecting Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction (DDU) and Kanpur Central (CNB) stations. This 347 km (216 mi) track is part of the Howrah–Delhi main line and Howrah–Gaya–Delhi line. The main line is under the jurisdiction of North Central Railway. Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction is under the jurisdiction of East Central Railway. Some branch lines are under the jurisdiction of the North Eastern Railway and Northern Railway.
Dehri-on-Sone railway station is on the Gaya–Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction section of the Grand Chord line. Dhanbad railway division is one of the five railway divisions under the jurisdiction of East Central Railway zone of the Indian Railways. This railway division was formed on 5 November 1951 and its headquarters is located at Dhanbad in the state of Jharkhand of India. It is also No.1 division in coal loading among all railway divisions in Indian Railways. The administrative head of division is called Divisional Railway Manager (DRM). Anugraha Narayan Road railway station is a main railway station in Aurangabad district, Bihar. Its code is AUBR. It serves Aurangabad town. The station consists of four platforms. The station is named after freedom fighter and first Deputy Chief Minister cum Finance Minister of the Indian state of Bihar (1946–1957) Bihar Vibhuti Dr. Anugrah Narayan Sinha.
