Gombe State, Nigeria. [1] It is used mostly for football matches but also for state and national ceremonial events, such as religious, political and social events. It is the official home stadium of Gombe United F.C. and Doma United F.C. and has been considered one of the most modern sport centres in the country. It was reconstructed in 2010.

The structure boast of three major facilities which accommodate a synthetic football pitch, a tartan track for athletics and a gym built to promote and enhance sports development in the state [2]

Doma United drew an average home attendance of 2,852 in the 2023–24 Nigeria Premier Football League.

Athletics Program

On July 8, 2023 an inter-primary school athletic program held at the stadium, with participation by 1,000 primary school pupils. [3]

She served in the 8th and 9th Assemblies of the Nigerian House of Representatives representing Dukku and Nafada Federal constituency, Gombe State, Nigeria. She was the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Electoral and Political Parties. She was defeated in the 2023 House of Representatives elections in her reelection bid.

The 2019–2020 Nigeria Professional Football League was the 49th season of the top-flight division of the Nigerian football league system and the 30th season since its rebranding as the 'Professional League'. The 2023 Gombe State gubernatorial election was held on 18 March 2023, to elect the Governor of Gombe State, concurrent with elections to the Gombe State House of Assembly as well as twenty-seven other gubernatorial elections and elections to all other state houses of assembly. The election—which was postponed from its original 11 March date—will be held three weeks after the presidential election and National Assembly elections. Incumbent APC Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya is running for a second term and was renominated by his party.
