Paolo Montorsi (born 14 August 1951) is an Italian volleyball player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1976 Summer Olympics. [1]
Italy competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 210 competitors, 183 men and 27 women, took part in 122 events in 20 sports.
Italy competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia and Stockholm, Sweden. 129 competitors, 114 men and 15 women, took part in 76 events in 13 sports. As the country hosted the next Olympics in Rome, the flag of Italy was hoisted at the closing ceremony.
Paolo Salvi was an Italian gymnast who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics and in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He was part of the Italian team, which was able to win the gold medal in the gymnastics men's team, European system event in 1912 as well as in 1920. Additionally, he was part of the bronze medal winning Italian gymnastics team at both the 1911 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships and 1913 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. At the 1911 worlds, he also won, as an individual, a silver medal on the pommel horse apparatus and a bronze medal on the parallel bars apparatus.

Paolo Pucci is a retired Italian freestyle swimmer and water polo player who competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics. He was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 100 m freestyle competition and finished fourth with the Italian water polo team.
Paolo Angioni is an Italian former equestrian and Olympic champion. He competed in the mixed three-day eventing, individual and team, at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics and won a team gold medal in 1964. In 1966, Angioni was crushed by his horse at a competition in Poland. He went into a coma, but recovered and continued to compete. In retirement he wrote several books on equestrian history and techniques.
Pier Paolo Lucchetta is an Italian former volleyball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics and in the 1988 Summer Olympics. He was born in Treviso. Four years later, he won the bronze medal with the Italian team in the 1984 Olympic tournament. He played all six matches.
Paolo Ignazio Maria Thaon di Revel was an Italian politician and fencer. He was the son of Count Vittorio Thaon di Revel and Elfrida Maria Atkinson. He fought in the First World War. He was also Mayor of Torino (1929–35) and Italian Minister of Finance (1935–43) in the Mussolini Cabinet. After the war, he was president of the organising committee of the 1956 Winter Olympics at Cortina d'Ampezzo.
