Papaya Coconut is a studio album from Kikki Danielsson, [1] [2] [3] released in November 1986. All the songs were written and composed by Lasse Holm and Ingela "Pling" Forsman. The song "Nashville, Tennessee" is from the 1986 television programme Kikki i Nashville . The album was on the Swedish Albums Chart around new year 1986-1987, and peaked at number 29 on the chart.

Ann-Kristin "Kikki" Danielsson is a Swedish country, dansband and pop singer. Sometimes, she also plays the accordion and she has also written some lyrics. She is also famous for yodeling in some songs. Danielsson gained her largest popularity in the Nordic region from the late 1970s until the late 1990s. She also gained popularity at the US country stage during the 1980s. In 1986, she had the "Kikki i Nashville" TV show.

Four of the songs were new back in 2001: "Fri", "Lämna mig inte", "I mitt hem" and "Rör vid mej". In 2002, Swedish band Barbados recorded an English language version of the title track "Fri", as "Sweet Little Angel".

Dag efter dag

"Dag efter dag" is a song in Swedish, with melody by Lasse Holm and text by Monica Forsberg. The pop and country group Chips won the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1982 with the song, which was sung by Kikki Danielsson and Elisabeth Andreassen. Chips finished eighth in the Eurovision Song Contest 1982 with the song. On April 18, 1982, the song reached the first place at Svensktoppen; where it stayed for nine rounds. *On June 13, 1982, the song was the last song to be number one at Svensktoppen, before the program was removed the first time. Chips also recorded the song with lyrics in English, Day after Day.

Roosarna

Roosarna, also known as the Kjell Roos Band, is a dansband in Vallsta, Sweden. The band was formed in 1969 by the brothers Kjell, Anders and Sven-Åke as Bröderna Roos. In the mid-1970s they changed their name to Roosarna. Since 1975, it is a full-time playing band. In 1982, the band begun to cooperate with Kikki Danielsson.

Dansband, or danseband in Norwegian and Danish, is a Swedish term for a band that plays dansbandsmusik. Dansbandsmusik is often danced to in pairs. Jitterbug and foxtrot music are often included in this category. The music is primarily inspired by swing, schlager, country, jazz, and rock. The main influence for rock-oriented bands is the rock music of the 1950s and 1960s.

"Papaya Coconut" is a song, written by Ingela Forsman and Lasse Holm. It was recorded with lyrics in Swedish by Kikki Danielsson on her 1986 album Papaya Coconut, and is one of her most famous recordings. The lyrics are about travelling from the Earth's colder places to its hotter places. The song was a Svensktoppen #1 hit, being at the chart for 12 weeks from January 11-March 29, 1987.

Miss Decibel, written by Lasse Holm and Gert Lengstrand, is a song in Swedish, which finished 2nd at the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1978. It was performed by the Swedish "dansband" Wizex, back then including Kikki Danielsson as lead vocal singer, together with Lasse Holm. The song, which lyrical describes about a little singing-screaming girl and her parents who see her screaming abilities as an opportunity to become a singing star in the future, ends with a refrain in English including the words "Decibel, you gonna be a star".

"Främling" ("Stranger"), written by Lasse Holm and Monica Forsberg and arranged by Lennart Sjöholm, was the song performed by the 16-year-old Carola Häggkvist which won the Swedish Melodifestivalen 1983.

Sången skall klinga or Sången ska klinga is a song written by Lasse Holm, and originally recorded by Wizex, with Kikki Danielsson on lead vocals for the 1979 album Some Girls & Trouble Boys.

"En timme för sent" is a song written by Lasse Holm, and recorded by Kikki Danielsson in 1986 on the album Papaya Coconut. The song was tested for Svensktoppen, where it stayed for totally nine weeks between 30 November 1986-1 February 1987, and peaking at number three.

"I kväll jag tänder ett ljus" is a Christmas song with lyrics and music by Ingvar Hellberg. With lyrics referring to childhood, it references snowy Christmases, probably on the Earth's Northern Hemisphere. It also uses some older Swedish grammar, with the lines och nu när snöflingor falla i julnatten lång.

"Canelloni, Macaroni" is a song written by Lasse Holm, and recorded by him released as a single in 1986.

Ingen utan mig is a 2011 Blender studio album.

Jul i Kvinnaböske is a 1986 Christmas album by Hasse Andersson, accompanied by the Kvinnaböske Band, and many of the songs have lyrics related to peace. The album peaked at number 27 on the Swedish Albums Chart. In 1987, it was re-released to CD.
