If I Ruled the World

Parlamentet (Swedish : the parliament) is a satirical panel gameshow on TV4, which parodies Swedish political debate. It was first broadcast in 1999 and is currently in its 23rd series. The current presenter is Anders S. Nilsson, who has hosted the show since 2004. Current team members include Babben Larsson, Robin Paulsson, Johan Rheborg and Johan Glans. Kodjo Akolor has also been featured. [1] The program is a Swedish version of the short-run British show If I Ruled the World.[ citation needed ] The comedians are divided into two teams (parties), red and blue, representing traditional political colours.

History

The show has had many producers over the years including Anders S. Nilsson, Gustaf Skördeman, Stefan Wiik and currently Benjamin Thuresson. The original 1999 panel consisted of Helge Skoog and Johan Wahlström in the blue party with Lasse Eriksson and Annika Lantz in the red party. [2]

Parlamentet was awarded the Kristallen award for best comedy in 2005 and Swedish tabloid newspaper Aftonbladet's TV prize for "Swedish program of the year" (2001–2004), "Entertainment program of the year" (2002–2004) and "Best comedy" (2005, 2007) [3] [4]

Halv åtta hos mig is a TV4 television programme shown in Sweden, first broadcast on 6 October 2008. The show is based on the ITV Studios television format Come Dine with Me broadcast on Channel 4 UK. The show has four amateur chefs competing against each other hosting a dinner party for the other contestants. Each competitor then rates the host's performance with the winner winning a 15,000 SEK cash prize. An element of comedy is added to the show through comedian Morgan Alling, who provides a sarcastic narration. The show was previously hosted by comedian Helge Skoog.

She has since worked in the P3 shows Kvällspasset, Morgonpasset and her own show Lantz i P3 which was also broadcast on SVT for some time. The show has since been moved to both P1 and P4. Lantz has also done her own talkshow on SVT called I Afton Lantz. She's been a panel member on the TV4 comedy show Parlamentet. Lantz is currently hosting the radioshow Lantzkampen.
