David Chandra Batra (born 29 November 1972) is a Swedish stand-up comedian and TV actor. He was born in Lund to an Indian father and a Swedish mother. [1] [2]
Batra started doing stand up comedy in 1994, and has written and played leading roles in comedy series on Swedish national TV. He has performed not only in Sweden but also in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Russia, Spain and USA. In addition he has appeared on BBC and CNBC. On 25 August 2009, Batra released a music CD containing "irritating and annoying sounds" for people who have the intention of disturbing their neighbors. The disk features loud snores, burps, sex noises and more. [3] In 2009, he made his debut in the TV4 program Parlamentet , [4] and during the autumn/winter of 2009 and 2010, he participated in the comedy program Cirkus Möller in the same channel. [5]
In 2012, Batra replaced Norwegian comedian Calle Hellevang-Larsen as the sidekick on the Norwegian talkshow I kveld med YLVIS . Batra is the author of four books on humor and a cook book. He is married to Swedish politician Anna Kinberg Batra, the former leader of the Moderate Party, Sweden's largest party on the centre-right. [6] Together they have a daughter. [7]
He has served on the jury of the television program Talang since 2017. [8]
Johan Magnus Glans is a Swedish stand up comedian and actor. He started doing stand up comedy in 1994, and has worked on Swedish TV with David Batra. Since 2016, Johan Glans has starred as Axel in Swedish Dicks on Pop. In the spring of 2016, Johan Glans participated as team leader in SVT's new comedy program "Tror du jag ljuger?" together with Anna Mannheimer as program manager and Fredrik Lindström as team manager for the opposing team. All three have appeared in the same roles in later seasons. In 2018, he was awarded the Pirate Prize. He has a role in the 2020, Christmas calendar Mirakel, which is broadcast on SVT.

Annika Maria Lantz, is a Swedish radio host, comedian and television presenter. She has worked at Sveriges Radio since 1993 when she started hosting a local radio show for Stockholm P5. She has since worked in the P3 shows Kvällspasset, Morgonpasset and her own show Lantz i P3 which was also broadcast on SVT for some time. The show has since been moved to both P1 and P4. Lantz has also done her own talkshow on SVT called I Afton Lantz. She's been a panel member on the TV4 comedy show Parlamentet. Lantz is currently hosting the radioshow Lantzkampen.

Talang 2021 was the eleventh season of Talang and was broadcast on TV4 15 January – 19 March 2021. Presenters for this season were Pär Lernström and Samir Badran, and the jury consisted of Sarah Dawn Finer, David Batra, Bianca Ingrosso and Edward af Sillen. The jury members Alexander Bard and LaGaylia Frazier left the show after season ten and were replaced by Sillen and Dawn Finer.
Talang 2022 is the twelfth season of Swedish Talang and is broadcast on TV4 from 14 January. Presenter for this season are Pär Lernström, the jury consists of Sarah Dawn Finer, David Batra, Bianca Ingrosso and Edward af Sillen. Samir Badran left the show as presenter.
