Pathmanath Perera (born 4 May 1972) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who played first-class and List A cricket from 1991 to 2005.
An all-rounder,Perera captained Kalutara Town Club in their initial first-class season in 1996–97. His highest first-class score was 133 for Kalutara against Sebastianites in 1996–97. [1] His best first-class bowling figures were 7 for 46 for Antonians against Panadura in 1992–93. [2]
De Soysa International Cricket Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Moratuwa,in southwestern Sri Lanka. It is currently used mostly for cricket matches. The stadium holds 15,000 people and hosted its first Test match in 1992. The ground opened in 1940 and gained Test status in 1979. Moratuwa,located just eight miles (13 km) south of Colombo is renowned for its carpentry,cricket and its philanthropists. Indeed it was the most famous of these families that initiated the development of De Soysa Park Stadium,when they donated the 5 acre plot of land to the Urban Council in 1940,to develop the Sports Complex. An additional 2 acres were sold under its market value by another member of the family. The ground was named De Soysa Park and subsequently used mainly for Moratuwa Sports Club (MSC) and school competitions.
The Major League Tournament is the main domestic first-class cricket competition in Sri Lanka. It was established in 1938 and has existed under a number of different names. Matches before the 1988–89 season are not considered first-class. Relaunched as the Lakspray Trophy in 1988–89,it was renamed as the P. Saravanamuttu Trophy in 1990–91 and as the Premier Championship in 1998–99. There was a change of format in 2015–16 when it became the Premier League Tournament which was split into Tiers A and B the following year.

They had previously been the inaugural winner of the Daily News Trophy in 1938 in the days before it had first-class status. They currently play in Tier B of the Premier Trophy.
Walikalage Sarath Peiris Jayawardene,usually known as Sarath Jayawardene is a Sri Lankan cricketer who has also played for Malaysia. A right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler,he had two stints playing first-class cricket in Sri Lanka,one from 1989 to 2002 and the other from 2005 to 2007. He played for Malaysia in 2003 and 2004.
