Transport in Greece have undergone significant changes in the past two decades, vastly modernizing the country's infrastructure and transportation. Although ferry transport between islands remains the prominent method of transport between the nation's islands, improvements to the road infrastructure, rail, urban transport, and airports have all led to a vast improvement in transportation. These upgrades have played a key role in supporting Greece's economy, which in the past decade has come to rely heavily on the construction industry.
Achaea or Achaia, sometimes transliterated from Greek as Akhaia, is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of the region of Western Greece and is situated in the northwestern part of the Peloponnese peninsula. The capital is Patras which is the third largest city in Greece.

The Proastiakos is Greece's Commuter rail services, which are run by TrainOSE, on infrastructure owned by the Hellenic Railways Organisation (OSE). These services connect a city's Central railway station to important locations such as a city's port or airport, as well as its suburbs and occasionally nearby towns and cities.
The Hellenic Railways Organisation or OSE is the Greek national railway company which owns, maintains and operates all railway infrastructure in Greece with the exception of Athens' rapid transit lines. Train services on these lines are run by TrainOSE S.A., a former OSE subsidiary. In addition, OSE owns and maintains the rolling stock used by TrainOSE and maintains preserved special rolling stock, withdrawn locomotives and railcars.
The Acharnes Railway Center or SKA is a two-level railway station in the northern parts of the Athens Urban Area, in the municipality of Acharnes, where several important railway lines converge. It is an important passenger interchange station linking The main Piraeus–Platy railway line from Athens Central to Thessaloniki and the Athens Airport–Patras railway line connecting Athens International Airport and East Attica with the Athens Urban Areas. The station opened in April 2011.
Kato Achaia is a town and a community in Achaea, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality West Achaea, of which it is the seat of administration. The community Kato Achaia consists of the town Kato Achaia and the villages Alykes, Manetaiikia, Paralia Kato Achaias and Piso Sykea. Nearby are the ruins of the ancient city of Dyme.
Lixouri is a town and a municipality in the island of Kefalonia, the largest of the Ionian Islands of western Greece. It is the main town on the peninsula of Paliki, and the second largest town in Kefalonia after Argostoli and before Sami. It is located south of Fiskardo and west of Argostoli. Since the 2019 local government reform it is one of the three municipalities on the island. It has one municipal unit: Paliki.

Araxos Airport is the airport of Patras, the third-largest city in Greece. It serves as a combined civilian and military airport and is located near its namesake, the village of Araxos, Achaea. It is also known as Agamemnon Airport and primarily is used as an active air base for the Hellenic Air Force, with some civilian services to European destinations during the summer months. The airport facilities were very limited until 2007, when the construction of a new 1,477 m2 arrivals building was completed. Today the airport terminal covers a total area of 2,300 m2.

Kiato railway station is a station in Kiato in the northern Peloponnese, Greece. The station is located 1km west of the town, near the A8 motorway between Athens and Patras. It was opened on 9 July 2007. The station is served by Line 2 and Line 5 of Proastiakos Athens between Piraeus and Aigio. It should not be confused with the now-closed station on the old Piraeus–Patras railway, which is located northeast of the current station, closer to the coast of the Corinthian Gulf.
KTEL is the main intercity public transport bus service in Greece. It is a cooperation of 62 regional bus companies, usually named after the regional unit they serve, e.g. KTEL Imathias for Imathia. KTEL was founded in 1952.
Athens "Kifissos" Bus Station, also known as KTEL Kifissos Bus station, is the busiest intercity bus station in Athens. It is the largest bus terminal in Athens and the second-largest in Greece, the largest being the Thessaloniki "Macedonia" Intercity Bus Station. It is located in Peristeri towards Kifissou Avenue or European route E75. There are a lot of routes to Peloponnese, Epirus, Macedonia and Ionian Islands. For Thessaly and Central Greece there are routes from the second intercity Bus Station of Athens in Patisia known as "Liosion Bus Station".

Thessaloniki "Macedonia" Bus Station, also known as the KTEL Makedonias Bus station, is the main bus station of Thessaloniki, Greece and the largest bus terminal in Greece. It is located in the western part of the city. Construction began in October 1996 and it was opened to the public in September 2002. It serves about 20 to 25 thousand passengers and 800 coaches departures per day to various cities all over Greece, as well as some routes to Albania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Germany and Turkey. It is connected with the rest of the city via OASTH, which operates about 120 buses per hour. The company, which operates the buses and owns the station is named KTEL. This terminal serves 41 KTEL routes, as well as some other bus lines internationally.
Athens "Liosion" Bus Station also known as KTEL Liosion Bus Station is the second busiest bus station in Athens. It is located in Patisia in Athens Municipality. There are routes to Central Greece, Thessaly, Pieria. There are a lot of passengers that use the Bus Station and it is the second largest bus station in Athens after Athens Kifissos Bus Station. 5 million passengers travel to Central Greece and Thessaly via this bus station. The busiest route is to Chalkida. There are routes per 30 minutes. There are new plans to build a bus station in Elaionas, Athens that will serve all routes of the entire nation. The new Bus Station will open in 2025.
Patras railway station is a railway station in Patras in the northwestern Peloponnese, Greece. The station is located in the center of the city, beside the north port on Piraeus–Patras line and Patras–Kyparissia line and is severed by both Proastiakos Patras Services. Pending the completion of the Athens Airport–Patras railway, it is also the starting point of TrainOSE bus lines to Aigio, Diakopto and Kiato, where connecting train services to Athens Airport and Piraeus are available. Diakopto is also the terminus of the unique rack railway to Kalavryta.
