Patrick Clarke is an Irish writer, director, producer and actor. Clarke [1] co-wrote and produced his first feature Beyond the Pale [2] in 1999. Based on actual events, the immigrant drama was a commercial success in Ireland, Australia and the UK and won awards at the Houston [3] and Arizona film festivals (2000). Clarke's performance in Beyond the Pale led to roles in The Magnificent Ambersons for A&E Networks and the award-winning black comedy Stay Until Tomorrow (2004), [4] which was developed through the Sundance Institute .
In 2004, Clarke formed i4i Productions, which completed many projects including One (2008), [5] [6] written and performed by Greg Pearl, John Illsley and Paul Brady; the feature-length documentary The Extra Mile [7] and the period feature thriller Trapped a.k.a. Anton [8] [9] which was nominated for three Irish Academy Awards at the 6th Irish Film & Television Awards. [10] [11] [12] [13] Clarke appeared in Aiyaary [14] [15] a Hindi action thriller directed by Neeraj Pandey, it was released worldwide on February 16, 2018 [16] [17] and wrote, produced and directed ‘The New Theatre’ a film about Dublin’s most inspirational Independent theatre venue (New Theatre, Dublin), [18] released on Arts & Education platforms across the United States in February, 2019.
Clarke was born in the Rotunda Hospital. He spent the first five years of his life living in Ballymun before moving to Finglas, a suburb of the city of Dublin. He attended Beneavin De La Salle College. [19] He played Gaelic football for Erin's Isle GAA Club [20] (Irish: Oileán na hÉireann) and soccer for Beggsboro A.F.C. an Irish association football club based in Cabra, Dublin. A serious knee injury during a match for Erin's Isle in 1983 brought his playing days to an end.

Finglas is a northwestern outer suburb of Dublin, Ireland. It lies close to Junction 5 of the M50 motorway, and the N2 road. Nearby suburbs include Glasnevin and Ballymun; Dublin Airport is seven km (4.3 mi) to the north. Finglas lies mainly in the postal district of Dublin 11.

Erin's Isle is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Finglas, Dublin, Ireland. Erin's Isle have won the Dublin Senior Football Championship on two occasions in 1993 and 1997, also capturing the Leinster Club Football Championship in 1997. The club won the Dublin Juvenile Football Championship for the first time in 1983 and the Dublin Minor Football Championship for the first time in 1985. Erins Isle won the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship once, in 1983.

Anton is a 2008 Irish action thriller film directed by Graham Cantwell. It stars Anthony Fox as Anton, a man drawn into the troubles along the Northern Ireland Border in 1972. The film also features Gerard McSorley, Laura Way, Vincent Fegan, Andy Smith and Ronan Wilmot.
Silent Grace is a critically acclaimed feature film written and directed by Maeve Murphy and was made no. 38 in The Irish Times Best 50 Irish films ever made list on 2 May 2020. It is about friendship and survival. A fictional story based on real events, covering the untold story of Republican women prisoners involvement in the 1980/81 Dirty Protest and first hunger strike. It is inspired by Nell McCafferty's The Armagh Women and based on the play/screenplay "Now and at the hour of our Death" that Murphy co-wrote with theatre company Trouble and Strife. Silent Grace stars Orla Brady, Cathleen Bradley, with Cara Seymour, Dawn Bradfield, Carol Scanlan, Conor Mullen, and Patrick Bergin. It received completion funds from The Irish Film Board.
Anthony Fox is an Irish writer, producer, director, actor and founder of the New Theatre, Dublin. Originally from County Cavan, Fox left Ireland in 1992 to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Studio in London From there he went to New York to work with the Irish Repertory Theatre, and had parts in A Wilde Night on Broadway and Juno and the Paycock.
The New Theatre is a small theatre, with 66 seats, in Temple Bar, Dublin. Founded in 1997, it was closed temporarily during 2007 for renovation works.
