Patrick Schranner (born 30 March 1991 in Ingolstadt) is a German racing driver.
Schranner began his racing career in karting in 2000. He remained in karting until 2008. Amongst others he won 2007 the ADAC Kart Masters - KF2 and became runner-up in the German Challenger Kart Championship. In 2009 he began his formula racing career. He competed in the ADAC Formel Masters for KUG Motorsport. [1] In addition he was supported by the ADAC Stiftung Sport. [2] Schranner remained with KUG Motorsport for 2010 and participated in the ADAC Formel Masters for the second season. He won five races and became runner-up with 255 points to 315 behind Richie Stanaway, who dominated the season. [3]
As of 2011 Schranner competes in the German Formula Three Championship, driving for HS Engineering. [4]
Schranner was trained as an auto mechanic. [1]

He competed in the first four rounds of the 2019–20 Formula E season with ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport, however he was dismissed from the team after being found to be using a ringer driver in the sport's subsequent virtual races. He completed the remainder of the season at Nio 333 FE Team replacing Ma Qinghua. He is currently on a hiatus from competitive racing, having chosen to take up a broadcasting role with Sat.1 as part of their Formula E coverage.

The 2011 ADAC Formel Masters season was the fourth season of the ADAC Formel Masters open wheel auto racing series in Germany. The points system for the 2011 season changed to match the system used by the FIA for other championships such as Formula One. Points were awarded to the top ten drivers in each race as follows: 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 1. Pascal Wehrlein won seven of the 24 races and won the drivers' championship. Motopark Academy won the teams' title after their drivers Emil Bernstorff, Artem Markelov, Kean Kristensen and Mario Farnbacher occupied second, fourth, fifth and sixth place respectively. Sven Müller was third.
