Paul D. Wohlers is a U.S. diplomat who served from 2011 to 2015 as the U.S. ambassador to Macedonia,stationed at the U.S. embassy in Skopje.
Wohlers graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1974 with a B.S. in international affairs. He then served as a Naval Flight Officer,attached to the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. He earned a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 1982. [1]
Early in his career with the U.S. State Department,Wohlers held posts at the U.S. embassies in Bucharest,Moscow,and Nicosia. He worked on arms control issues in the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs and was Desk Officer for Bangladesh in the Bureau of South Asian Affairs. He also served on the Executive Secretariat Staff. [2]
Wohlers also served as Director of the Office of Caucasus Affairs and Regional Conflicts in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs,Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargéd'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Skopje,Deputy Director of the Executive Secretariat Staff,Senior Watch Officer in the Operations Center,and as Deputy Executive Secretary at the U.S. Department of State. Wolhers was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve as the sixth U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia,and he was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate on August 2,2011. He was sworn in by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on August 11,2011,arrived in Skopje on September 12,and presented his Credentials to the President of the Republic of Macedonia on September 13,2011. Wohlers is married and has three daughters. [1] His brother,Laurence D. Wohlers,was the U.S. Ambassador to the Central African Republic from 2010 to 2013.
David Michael Satterfield is an American diplomat and ambassador,who has served extensively in the Middle East,including the Persian Gulf area,Lebanon,and Iraq. Zoran Jolevski is a Macedonian diplomat and the former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia. Prior to his appointment as Minister of Defense,he served as Macedonia's Ambassador to the United States of America. In November 2008,he was appointed chief negotiator to the Macedonia naming dispute,and in 2011 he was appointed Ambassador to the United Mexican States and as Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States. He served as Secretary General of the late Macedonian president Boris Trajkovski from 2000–2004. He holds a Ph.D. in International Economy from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje. He is married to Suzana Jolevska,and together they have two sons,Pero (1988) and Filip (1992).

He was previously Chargéd'affaires of the United States mission to the United Kingdom from 2021 to 2022 and acting assistant secretary of state in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs from 2019 to 2021.

Earl Anthony Wayne is an American diplomat. Formerly Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs,Ambassador to Argentina and Deputy Ambassador to Afghanistan,Wayne served nearly four years as Ambassador to Mexico. Wayne is an independent consultant,speaker and writer and works with several not-for-profit professional associations. He was an adviser for HSBC Latin America on improving management of financial crime risk from 2015 until 2019 and served on the board of the American Foreign Service Association from 2017 to 2019.
Luis Edmundo Arreaga-Rodas is a Guatemalan American diplomat and government official who served as the United States Ambassador to Guatemala from 2017 to 2020. He previously served as United States Ambassador to Iceland from 2010 to 2013. In January 2016,he was appointed Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. In June 2017,President Donald Trump nominated Arreaga to become the United States Ambassador to Guatemala. This nomination was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on August 3,2017.
