Gurukiran Shetty, known mononymously as Gurukiran, is an Indian music director of the Kannada film industry in India. He started his career as a music director of the Kannada movie A, directed and acted by Upendra. His music for his next movie Upendra further consolidated his position in Kannada movie industry. Govindaya Namaha is a 2012 Indian Kannada language comedy drama film directed by debutante Pawan Wadeyar. The film was released on 30 March 2012 across cinema halls. Sagar Puranik is a National Award winning director and actor who predominantly works in Kannada film and Television industry. Sagar made his film debut with Ring Road Suma (2015), which is notable for, it was made by an all-women crew, the first in Kannada language. He was selected as the best debut director (Kannada) in the 11th South Indian International Movie Awards for Dollu, the film won two awards for Best Feature Film – Kannada.
Dollu is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language drama film written and directed by Sagar Puranik and produced by Pawan Wadeyar and Apeksha Purohit under the banner of Wadeeyar Movies. The film stars Karthik Mahesh, Nidhi Hegde, Chandra Mayura and Babu Hirannaiah.
