Pawan K Shrivastava [1] [2] [3] is a film maker, writer, blogger and activist born in 1982, in the town of Marhaura, Bihar State, India. After completing high school, he went to Allahabad for further education, and then to Delhi to work and study computer science. He left in 2008 and returned to Bihar to aid, make documentaries on, and direct plays on social issues. [4]
Pawan is also the Director of Bihar's first independent crowd funded film, [5] Naya Pata. He generated the funds for Naya Pata through social networking sites, personal and social connections and now he has become one of very few film makers who have tried Crowdfunding, and started a new trend for film making in India. He writes at his blogs E-Bihar [6] and 'Patna Ki Sadko Se'. [7] He has directed two documentaries, two short films and one feature film and has written and directed more than 200 street plays. [8]
He has created history by making NAYA PATA through crowd Funding in just 8 Lacs. [9] He has successfully shown the agony of migrants and their struggle for identity. [10] He lives in Delhi and keeps himself involved in various social activities [11] [12] in the city.
He has been selected among 13 young innovators of 2012 from Bihar to Chart their own road of Success by Telegraph. [13]
Pawan's first film Naya Pata is scheduled to release on 27 June through PVR Director's rare. [14] It is going to be the first time in India that a film from Bihar is exclusively being released by PVR Director's cut.
Pawan has recently [ when? ] been invited by Andaman Film Society to take workshops on film making and crowd Funding in Portblair. [15]
"Haashiye Ke Log" - After the Success of Naya Pata, Pawan has announced his next film titled "Haashiye Ke Log" [16] which is about the Marginalised Section and focussed on the Plights of Dalits in contemporary Indian Society. He Has already made a strong team and working on the scripting Part. He is hope full to complete the Pre Production by the end of December 2014. He is going to start crowd Funding Campaign soon for "Haashiye Ke Log" [17]

Jayaprakash Narayan Srivastava, also known as JP and Lok Nayak, was an Indian politician, theorist and independence activist. He is mainly remembered for leading the mid-1970s opposition against Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and calling for her overthrow in a "total revolution". In 1999, Narayan was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in recognition of his social service. His other awards include the Magsaysay award for public service in 1965.
Bihar is a state in Eastern India. It is the third largest state by population, the 12th largest by area, and the 15th largest by GDP in 2021. Bihar borders Uttar Pradesh to its west, Nepal to the north, the northern part of West Bengal to the east, and Jharkhand to the south. Bihar is split by the river Ganges, which flows from west to east. On 15 November 2000, southern Bihar was ceded to form the new state of Jharkhand. Hajipur is the headquarters and largest city of Vaishali district of the state of Bihar in India. Hajipur is the 16th most populous city of Bihar, besides being the second-fastest developing city, next to Patna. It had a total population of 1.47 lakh as per census 2011. Patna Museum is the state museum of the Indian state of Bihar. Founded on 3 April 1917 during the British Raj to house the historical artefacts found in the vicinity of Patna, it is constructed in the style of Mughal and Rajput architecture, and is known locally as the Jadu Ghar. The first Women World Cup Kabaddi Championship was held here in its inaugural year, in which 16 countries had participated. Viraat Ramayan Mandir is a under-construction Hindu temple complex located at twin villages of Kaithawalia and Bahuara near Chakia in East Champaran district, Bihar, India. It is being built with a cost of 5 billion rupees and is planned to be 123 metres (405 ft) high, double height of Angkor Wat Hindu Temple in Cambodia, and to have a hall that seats 20,000 people. The construction of the temple was scheduled to start in June 2015, but has been delayed following the Cambodia government's protest to the government of India which successfully won over Temple construction. Raj Kumar Singh is a former Indian bureaucrat and former Union Cabinet Minister in the Government of India. He was the Member of the Indian Parliament for Arrah, Bihar, from May 2014 to 4 June 2024. Singh is a 1975 batch Bihar cadre Indian Administrative Service officer and former Home Secretary of India.

Hashiye Ke Log is an independent film to be produced through crowd funding and Individual Producers. It is going to be the second Directorial film of Pawan K Shrivastava. Hashiye Ke Log is a cinema which tries to capture the marginalized India. This is a story of a man belonging to 'Dalit' community, which forms a major part of India's marginalized millions, showcasing his struggle in standing against oppression and for a dignified life for himself and many others like him. It also takes on the present day growth policy which is majorly exclusionist and has not yielded much for many.
Patna Collegiate School is a Government High School located in Patna, Bihar, India. It was established by officials of East India Company on 10 August 1835 to spread the english pattern of education in Bihar. Its previous name was Patna High School. It was founded at Alan Ganj, Ashok Rajpath, Patna and is the oldest High School in the State of Bihar, India. The school is located at Dariyapur, Patna and is affiliated with the Bihar School Examination Board. The current principal of the school is Dr. Madhuri Dwivedi.
