Pedro Miguel Baltazar Almeida (born 5 April 1993) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for C.F. Benfica as a right back.
Born in Porto Salvo, Oeiras, Almeida played youth football with S.L. Benfica from 2001 to 2011. Subsequently, he joined U.D. Leiria for his last year as a junior. [2]
Almeida made his Primeira Liga debut on 29 April 2012, being one of only eight players fielded by Leiria – immerse in a deep financial crisis – in a 0–4 home loss against C.D. Feirense. [3] [4]

The league's name was changed back to Segunda Liga from the previous Liga de Honra. A total of 22 teams contested the league, up from 16 in the previous season; 14 of which contested the 2011–12 season, two of which were promoted from the Portuguese Second Division, one of which was relegated from the 2011–12 Primeira Liga, and five of which were new reserve teams of Primeira Liga clubs.
