Penafiel is a town and a parish in Penafiel Municipality in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 15,552, [1] in an area of 22.52 km². [2] Penafiel has its own station on the Douro railway line.

AJP Motos is a Portuguese manufacturer of enduro and off-road motorcycles using single-cylinder 4-stroke engines of 125cc, 200cc, 240cc, 250cc and 650cc capacity. The brand name "AJP" is derived from the initials of seven-times Portuguese Enduro Champion António J Pinto.
