Permalight is the fourth album by indie rock band Rogue Wave. It is the first to feature new bassist Cameron Jasper. The album was released on March 2, 2010.

Asleep at Heaven's Gate is the third album by American indie rock band Rogue Wave. It was released to average reviews on September 18, 2007. It was produced by Roger Moutenot. "Lake Michigan", the first single from the album, was featured in a TV commercial for Microsoft's second-generation Zune music players, and was included on the original soundtrack of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. "Electro-Socket Blues" is a bonus track and can be found on the UK release of the album, whilst “The Show”, “I Can Die", "Electro-Socket Blues", and “All You Need Is Love”, are all available on the remastered and expanded version of the album, which can be found on iTunes. “Chicago x 12” is also featured in the eighth season of Scrubs in the episode “Their Story II”.

Sky Tonia Ferreira is an American singer-songwriter, model, and actress. As a teenager, Ferreira began uploading videos on Myspace of herself singing songs she had written, which led to her discovery by producers Bloodshy & Avant and a recording contract with Parlophone in 2009. She released her first extended play, As If!, in 2011, which combined elements of electropop and dance music. Ferreira's second EP, Ghost (2012), however, incorporated pop with more stripped-down song structures and featured collaborations with Jon Brion and Shirley Manson, as well as the critically acclaimed track "Everything Is Embarrassing", which she composed with Dev Hynes.

Steven John Taylor is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. In addition to his solo career, he has played keyboards and guitar for bands such as Rhye, Nicki Bluhm, and Rogue Wave. He was born in Sacramento, California and grew up in the College Glen area, attending Saint Ignatius Catholic School and the Sacramento Waldorf School. Dropping out in 10th grade following a bout of misdiagnosed obsessive compulsive disorder, he later enrolled at Sacramento High School.

MacBriare Samuel Lanyon DeMarco is a Canadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. He has released five full-length studio albums: his debut, 2 (2012), Salad Days (2014), This Old Dog (2017), Here Comes the Cowboy (2019), and Five Easy Hot Dogs (2023). He additionally released the mini-albums Rock and Roll Night Club in 2012 and Another One in 2015, as well as the compilation album One Wayne G in 2023. In addition to those albums are his singles, and all of his albums have had demo albums released after them. His style of music has been described as "blue wave" and "slacker rock", or, by DeMarco himself, "jizz jazz".

Nightingale Floors is the fifth studio album by Rogue Wave, an American indie rock band. It was released on June 4, 2013 through Vagrant Records.

"Waves" is a song recorded by the American recording artist Miguel for his third studio album, Wildheart (2015). It was released as a promotional single from the album in 2016 through RCA Records.
