Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the Organization of American States

The Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the Organization of American States is a diplomatic post of the Holy See. First appointed in 1978, the position had been given to the Vatican's diplomat to the United States until 2012. In 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed the Holy See's Permanent Observer to the United Nations in New York to the post. Pope Francis and Secretary of State Pietro Parolin maintained that new pattern in 2014, and then in 2019 appointed the first observer to hold only that position.

The Apostolic Delegation to Laos represents the interests of the Holy See in Laos to officials of the Catholic Church, civil society, and government offices. The Holy See and the government of Laos have not established diplomatic relations and the position of Apostolic Delegate to Laos is not a diplomatic one, though the Delegate is a member of the diplomatic service of the Holy See. The Delegate normally holds the title Apostolic Nuncio to Thailand and resides in Bangkok.

The Council of Europe granted observer status to the Holy See on 7 March 1970, having maintained a lesser relationship since 1962, when the Apostolic Nuncio to Belgium was given the additional title Apostolic Delegate to the Council for Cultural Cooperation of the Council of Europe.

The Apostolic Nunciature to Kenya is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church in Kenya. It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio with the rank of an ambassador. Diplomatic relations between the Holy See and Kenya were established in November 1965, following the proclamation of the Republic of Kenya on 12 December 1964.

The Apostolic Nunciature to Equatorial Guinea is an ecclesiastical office of the Catholic Church. It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Delegate.The title Apostolic Nuncio to Equatorial Guinea is held by the prelate appointed Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon; he resides in Yaounde.
