Hans Peter Ludvig Gentzel (born 12 October 1968) is a Swedish former handball player who competed in the 2000 Summer Olympics.
He was born in Gothenburg.
In 2000, he was a member of the Swedish handball team that won the silver medal in the Olympic tournament. He played all eight matches as goalkeeper. In December 2010, Gentzel ended his career and took a high ranked job within Swedish handball.
The Sweden men's national handball team is Sweden's national team in men's handball and is controlled by the Swedish Handball Association. Its most successful periods were under coaches Curt Wadmark (1948–1967) and Bengt Johansson (1988–2004). The team under Bengt Johansson, nicknamed Bengan Boys in Sweden, is regarded as one of the finest national teams in the history of the sport with players like Tomas Svensson, Staffan Olsson, Magnus Wislander and Stefan Lövgren. From 1990 through 2002 the team reached the medal round in every championship and qualified for a record 8 championship finals in a row 1996–2002.
Inga Kristina Gentzel was a Swedish runner who won a bronze medal in the 800 m at the 1928 Summer Olympics. Shortly before the Olympics, she set a new world record in this event, broken two weeks later, but remained a national record until 1943. Gentzel won the silver medal in the 1000 m at the 1926 Women's World Games.

We Need Each Other is a 1944 Swedish drama film directed by Hampe Faustman and starring Ludde Gentzel, Ingrid Borthen and Carl Ström with location shooting in Stadshagen, Djurgården and the city's Old Town. It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director P.A. Lundgren. It was produced to celebrate the hundredth year of the foundation of the Cooperative movement by the Rochdale Society of Equitable Pioneers in 1844. In addition to directing, Faustman also acts in this film.
