Phares Kashemeza Kabuye was a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of Tanzania. [1] He died in a car crash in 2009. [1] [2] He was involved in a car crash(bus in Morogoro)he boarded from Biharamulo to attend his Party meeting in the then Capital Dar Es Salaam.
Phares Kabuye served as MP for Biharamulo since 1985 being a member for CCM.
He then lost a seat to the other person before he won it back in 1995 through Tanzania Labor Party(TLP).
He was the only TLP member of the parliament during those era.
Its however noted that he was a very good speaker in the parliament. He was real active.
He was also a member of the Pan African Parliament from Tanzania.
He was also controversial for one time he accused the whole members of the parliament that they got their seats through corruption, giving excuse to Edward Lowassa (The then PM) and himself. This somehow got him in trouble.
He was really a humble person. He lived in a very simple house, and its believed that he had no car hence travelled by public transport (and in a bus he was involved in an accident that took his life)
He went to Middle school and class 10 and went to Teachers College. He quit school in order to get employed that he becomes of help to his siblings, following the passing of his parents.

The Carrollton bus collision occurred on May 14, 1988, on Interstate 71 in unincorporated Carroll County, Kentucky. The collision involved a former school bus in use by a church youth group and a pickup truck driven by an alcohol-impaired driver. The head-on collision was the deadliest incident involving drunk driving and the third-deadliest bus crash in U.S. history. Of the 67 people on the bus, there were 27 fatalities in the crash, the same number as the 1958 Prestonsburg bus disaster, and behind the 1976 Yuba City bus disaster (29) and 1963 Chualar bus crash (32).

He also served as the member of parliament for Vunjo constituency, on multiple occasions, until 2015, when he was defeated in the national election by James Mbatia of NCCR Mageuzi. In early 2016, Mrema was appointed a chairperson of the Tanzania Parole Board by the president, John Magufuli.
Edward Ngoyai Lowassa is a Tanzanian politician who was Prime Minister of Tanzania from 2005 to 2008, serving under President Jakaya Kikwete. Lowassa has gone into record as the first Prime Minister to have been forced to resign by a fraud scandal in the history of Tanzania. Following his resignation President Kikwete was obliged to dissolve his cabinet as required by the Constitution and with minimum delay, constituted a new one under a new Prime Minister, Mizengo Pinda.

Zitto Zuberi Ruyagwa Kabwe was born on 24 September 1976 in the village of Mwandiga, Kigoma district, Tanzania. He is popularly known as Zitto Kabwe, and is a Tanzanian politician. He was a member of the opposition party, Chadema, from 1992 until his expulsion in March 2015. He served as a two term Member of Parliament for the Kigoma North constituency from 2005 to 2015.
Timothy Colin Smith is an Australian politician in the Victorian Legislative Assembly, serving as the member for Kew since 2014. In September 2021, Smith was appointed as Victorian shadow attorney-general. In October 2021, he resigned from this position after he crashed his car while drink driving. He subsequently announced that he would not recontest his seat at the 2022 Victorian state election. He is a former state and national representative rower who won a medal at the 2005 World Championships.
